Why I love Scotty Cranmer, in four easy steps: 1) he works his butt off to get these videos out every day. 2) he is one of the most honest, sincere guys in all of bmx. 3) I watched this dude personally help dry the course at xgames while ALL the other riders just sat around and did nothing after it rained. 4) the way this guy cheers on his friends while they ride bmx every day when he could be a huge dueche because they're nowhere near as good as him? This man is such a huge ambassador for the sport of bmx. Nothing bad can be said about him.

you pretty much answered your own question. scotty is a good, straight edge type of guy, someone the kids can look up to. the reason why he always talks about wearing your helmet is the same reason he wouldn't hop the fence. he's trying to set an example for young riders.

I did my own version of Cory's spinal when I was about 14 on my CR125. I was showin' off for some neighborhood girls, riding a wheelie along the country road by my house. Hit some gravel on the side of the road, lost it a bit, blipped the throttle and looped out. Landed right on my tailbone and slid along on the asphalt and gravel. Luckily, I was wearing my chest protector, so no road rash on the back, but the back of my arms were raw. Had to go to the hospital, and they cleaned the gravel out of the wounds with a brush. OUCH!
