As a husband of a Godly wife who is struggling with infertility, this speaks to me. Our life is amazing, she is so much more than I deserve and our ministry together is changing lives and showing the love of Jesus to others.....however we are in the valley. We’ve wondered if the valley will somehow become our home, our place of ministry, our place of contentment, our place of worship. Lord of it is, we will still worship. I would never minimize what you are feeling, however, having children is not the purpose of life--our society currently puts too much glamour and emphasis in it. I don't even want children and I focus on my career. Nothing can ever take all my happiness away. Do not let the devil whisper to you. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with not having children. Please be the one who thinks above and beyond the trendy obsession with fertility. Thanks for your honesty and for reaching out. I am a Teacher but I love my stress-free life of not having one of my own. I wish to one day have a foster teenage girl, but if not, that void is not really a void, but there are a million creative things and adventures we can have in this life. I have the healthiest fertility I have ever heard of, and not sure about my future husband's and it's just not the life goal. I hope I influence you for the better--I have been in church my whole life, sang in worship teams, lead a full life, I could die tomorrow without having ever given birth and I'd be okay...but I understand! Please protect your wife from the voice that tells her something is missing! That is your main job, and protecting her spiritually is the thing God will bless you most for doing!

Cory, I found you doing Reckless love and I stood still unable to breathe. Then I found Misunderstood. THAT song was and is me exactly. 15 years in psychosis. 8 psych hospitals, 21electric shock treatments, 3 suicide attempts. Everyone except my sweet husband left me. I was in a horrible black deadly catatonic state. The hospitals drugged me n3arly to death. BUT GOD! While in psychosis satan tormented and laughed, telling me over and over to kill myself and I couldn't even open my mouth to speak. Then God stepped in and screamed ENOUGH! A holistic psychiatrist showed up, she discovered I wasn't crazy,...my brain was swollen from Lupus! She weaned me off of over 20 psych drugs and loved on me! Here we are 1 year later going into ministry, for broken wounded people! Free at last, free at last, praise God, praise God, I'm free at last ❤

@@michellegza no I don't , my Instagram is private. Thank you so much, life has been so broken! Also, I am recovering from 14 breaks in my spine. It collapsed from Lupus in 2017! They said ( I was paralyzed) that I would never walk again! It's now June of 2024 , I have re-taught myself to walk 3 times and am on a cane now Praise God! During this time I slipped into a coma mid sentence. Put on full life support for 2 weeks. It turns out I was totally septic from feces in my gallbladder! 3 more months on life support and then surgery. It took 5 incisions to get my gallbladder out! BUT GOD!

I cannot get enough of this song, in fact almost every night I have put on this rooftop concert on my headphones and gone to sleep listening and in the morning when I wake up I put it back on to rest and reflect on the goodness of GOD in my life all these years, even before I knew him its so plain to see HE knew me .....Thank you, Cory Asbury, for putting just the right words with just the right melody and making such lyrics that both glorify Jesus but also touch the heart of the listener and I can relate to EVERY single song on this album. Not one dud song, not one!!! Thank you, God, for using this talented young man. He will never know how his music has touched my life and the life of my son, he tried to commit suicide after my dad died a few years ago and the song reckless love of God was a sign to me that he would live as I saw him lay in that bed in ICU....GOD IS SO GOOD LIKE THAT!!!!! After he got off the Vent and was released home that was one of the first songs, he learned to play and sing after he healed a bit. But I could not even do the story justice if I told it. He is 29 now and he struggles with depression but loves the LORD so much, and music is his way of coping as is mine. That is exactly how I came to love this young man, and I am turning 70. My 3 sons all play guitar and sing like 2:10 Cory. Not 1 of them is Christian and it tears my heart out. I watch Cory and sob.
