Did anyone figure out what scales Nick uses on his solos? Except for the bluesy, gospel chops he uses, he has a particular feel to some of his solo, especially his solo on their '1999' Prince song. It just sounds so majestically alien. Also sounds so Egyptian-y or hindu (I don't know what to call it lol) and also video gamish. I have a hard time figuring out, because of all the nuances and effects he makes with his synths it's difficult to distinguish. Haha I love it.
