Now remember that a veneer does not cover the whole tooth so you need to take care of them as if they were your natural teeth. Brushing, flossing and going in for your regular cleanings and exams. I have horrible sensitive teeth from over using whitening products when I was 14-21, to the point I have to have my mouth frozen for Cleanings and sometimes just routine exams. My biggest problems with some of these procedures are that 1) The teeth are often "too" perfectly shaped afterwards, which most people usually don't have and they don't usually fit their faces, and it makes them look fake, 2) They're usually too white, especially in older people when tooth color naturally discolors over time (nothing wrong with that) and it makes them look conspicuously fake. 3) Natural teeth have an aura of translucency when hit by light, and these veneers are usually opaque, which makes them look obviously fake like false teeth.

Yes Veneers would be a good option to repair any damage caused by bruxism. That said though, you would need to get a new night guard that would fit the veneers to protect them. Putting too much force on the veneers can cause them to become damaged. Hope this helps!

If they are placed properly you can floss like you normally would and the veneer would act as shield against bacteria. Placed properly nothing should get underneath them. You do still need to brush and floss like you would on your natural teeth and come in for your regular cleanings and check ups though.

They are protected by the veneer so that surface will not have any change of developing decay. That being said, you still have to care for your teeth as you normally would, brushing and flossing daily, and getting your 6 month teeth cleanings. To answer your questions yes and no. Braces will be used to straighten your teeth first if there is a lot of correction to be done there. The reason for this is that if you have really crooked teeth it would a take a lot of material to build up a layer that would look straight across the front. This would make the teeth look bulky and fake so we don't do that here. For minor gaps and misaligned teeth you can use veneers to fix this. As for cavities, all teeth that have porcelain restoration placed on them will need to be clear of any decay and in optimal health. The veneers will act like a protective covering for the surface they are placed on. That said you still need to take care of your teeth like you normally would, brushing and flossing regularly. Our "prepless" veneers do not remove your natural tooth structure and can be removed but it is not recommended as some tooth structure will likely be removed if you remove the veneers. I WANT VENEERS ! 😫 my teeth are not bad looking they’re just yellow and I’ve tried many “natural” remedies but nothing worked and I want to try teeth whitening strips but I’m afraid it will damage my teeth since they already look kind of brittle and they are sensitive.

We have some patients that still have them 20+ years later. If you take care of them and maintain good dental hygiene then yes, they can last long time.

Does it remove on its own while chewing food or does it remain on its place ??
