Deepak, I think your greatest achievement is that, after all your fame, notoriety and accolades you have managed to keep your beginner's mind intact. It's a joy to see you exploring everything and a true blessing that you're sharing it with us. I'm excited to see what we will learn in this coming year. Thank you and Be Cool.

Great talk as always Deepak; thank you for sharing your thoughts and your wisdom. Question: is it all a "magical lie" or just a misunderstanding of something we know not.....yet? BTW, great Rumi quote you used; it is very relevant to your discussion. Namaste

Thank you! The skill of being surprised is a border between wisdom and knowledge. If you are being surprised your mind works to increase and expand the measure of your surprising and it is the way of philosophy and wisdom. And the main philosophical question is a "why" or the question of meaning. It is interesting that the majority of sages tried to understand rather the meaning of existence of the universe than explore any events or processes in the universe. That's why the modern science has no a big picture of the universe, it has no a holistic knowledge about cosmos.

If we start out by admitting that the concept of infinity excludes the notion of an edge, which is a simple matter of definition, what becomes of the argument?

Why can’t we just admit that nobody past or present knows. I put my money on no one in the future will know either. The best guess we have is there is no beginning or end. This is all inclusive. It would have to be. Don’t be philosophical. Just simply be human and live accordingly.

Science only observes and discovers what GOD already created. Science doesn’t invent anything. Only discovers. Only observes and catalogs and labels things that are already in existence. Science is like doubting Thomas. Thomas doubted and got to touch the wounds of Christ.
