I LOVE 'Bright Little Star'. Such a tender, borderline-depressing song... bittersweet, really. Sonny's been there since the 90s (19993 or 1994), so he hasn't seen his girl in well over 20 years. Even when you don't take that into account, you really get this sense that he misses her terribly. You really get this sense of heartache as he pines for her. If she had died, it couldn't be a more appropriate song (lyrics, and all); that's how emotional it is.

My whole family is a bunch of hardcore Disney fans and so we actually asked the band hired for sister's wedding to play and sing Bright Little Star for the Bride/Father of the Bride dance and they agreed to do it! It was such a special moment and many happy tears were shed. It was the perfect song for it.

I love the Yew Nork song, most of the places he talks about from his planet are just like our places but their names all begin with the first letter of opposite words. Like Carnegie Hall is Harnegie Call. :-)
