Earlier this year COSMO ran the #EnoughIsEnough survey and found that 89% of women say they have been sexually harassed by men. WTF. 😐🙎‍♀️
For #16DaysOfActivism, and to raise awareness around gender-based violence (GBV) in South Africa, COSMOPOLITAN has invited eight male celebrities to take a pledge and stand up against the BS that is the sexual harassment of women. ✊✅
COSMO and comedy kween @coconut_kelz invite men to imagine what it's like to be a woman for a day.
#COSMOMenStandUp, sponsored by @nissansa, asks men and people of all genders to take accountability and stand in solidarity with women to create a safe space for ladies to live in. I've been thinking how it seems almost more messed up when it happens to men. And I've come to the conclusion that it's because we live in a. @@Aussious07 so because you haven't seen it happening it doesn't happen? don't be daft it might be 2019 but women still experience this type of sexual assault every single day from men with wives, daughters and sisters. I had a man who too had a daughter force me to kiss him even though I said no more than 5 times. sexual assault happens in public spaces all the time and no one will say or do anything because rape culture is so normalised and its seen as men just being men.

Neo Makofane I’m sorry to hear about your experience, it’s really unfortunate that such human beings are part of our society, hence we have due process that we need to refine to ensure that it protects ALL in our society especially those who are vulnerable. You have a valid question based on your experience however you insulting me doesn’t add any further credence to your point or argument, despite this I will further elaborate and answer your question. What I am stating is a simple and provable fact that I do not know of any male in my immediate circle that would be foolish enough to conduct themselves in such a manner, given how we mostly share the same value systems and general outlook are the such people probably and those individual need to be addressed duly as per the requirements of the law, majority of the men I know are dignified law abiding human beings who would strongly object to such behavior.
