Oh shit, nice planning Cosmo - I didn't read the title when this song started playing and freaked out for a sec when I looked at the time and it was exactly half past 3, just as he sang it lmao

This song genuinely is lifechanging. Hearing the same birdcalls from Pliocene is such a throwback, and reminds me of when it was my favorite in 2020-2021. So much has changed, but I can let the winds waft my worries away.

I was like "Oh yeah, nothing is going to beat Does the Swallow Dream of Flying for me from this album" And then I was like "Okay it's a close tie between Does the Swallow Dream of Flying and Interdimensional fine it can happen" And then you drop THIS??? Do you WANT there to be a three-way tie for which song is best??? It's impossible!!!

artists usually work on a bunch of songs over time, and release them all at once as an album. I think he's been working on this batch for quite a while (some of his notes mention his previous album, so maybe since then), and I expect we are also due for another period of silence after this while he works on the next one.

I like that (at least to me) it almost sounds like relying on the daydream to get out of your own head. I’m not sure if that was the intention or not but I definitely daydream a lot to stop myself from spiraling with overwhelming anxiety and negativity, and it feels like this song captures that feeling really well. I could be projecting a bit too idk. Either way it’s a banger and one of my favorites of the album.

listening to this album again and it's so calming and soothing and wonderful, it really stimulates my brain just right and makes me feel a lot less stressed and overwhelmed!! especially this song, i really relate to the lyrics too. all of your music is amazing, like nothing else i can find. i'm 15 and have been listening for 4 or 5 years now and i'm still a huge fan. thank you for all of your music cosmo, meeting you and getting my eye to the ear vinyl signed a bit ago (and then seeing you live again!!) was the coolest thing ever and made my 11 year old (and my current 15 year old) heart so happy!!!! :-)

Here are the lyrics in case you wanted to sing along I’m in the garden Half past three Underneath the plum tree Waiting for a daydream I’m in the garden Half past three Working on my fourth tea Wondering where should I be If only I could shut the world out ’till tomorrow (tomorrow) Then maybe I can find a little peace of mind If only I could watch the breeze blow all my sorrow (sorrow) And listen as the wind begins to waft my worries away I’m in the garden Half past four Underneath the Hawthorn Watching as the ants crawl on I’m in the garden Half past four Listening to leaves fall Thinking should I sleep once more If only I could shut the world out ’till tomorrow (tomorrow) Then maybe I can find a little peace of mind If only I could watch the breeze blow all my sorrow (sorrow) And listen as the wind begins to waft my worries away Lying backwards as the world spins round me Feel dizzy when I think too hard The weight of empty space surrounds me The smallest sound and I’ll get caught off guard If only I could shut the world out ’till tomorrow (tomorrow) Then maybe I can find a little peace of mind If only I could watch the breeze blow all my sorrow (sorrow) And listen as the wind begins to waft my worries away
