saw a lot a comments about the infinite witches. if you don't get on those buildings, they won't spawn. Ran it twice, and they didn't spawn. also, when in final boss encounter, stay crouched and back on the platform to avoid the shields wiping team. managed to pug it. gl, guardians

@DeanGetYourWings my team's experience was that we avoided the rooftop altogether, and used the containers and that area beneath the respective building's awning. We had line of sight on Champs, first mini-boss, and nothing chased us in there. Just needed to be mindful of grenades. When we didn't go on the rooftop, they never spawned. When a random went on the rooftop, they got melted by a sudden infinite knight/witch spawn. Our hidey hole prevented witches and Knights from firing down on us though (when a random spawned them). GL with your run! Hidey hole location is to the right of the final path the vehicle takes, hugging the wall of the building, there's an alcove and containers to use for cover. Don't get complacent there though, enemies have 100% accuracy with grenades and unstoppables will nuke you if you don't pie the cover to avoid the damage.

With this strategy middle boss and final boos - High Ground is an excellent perk. Boss room - you can get hit by the void shield and team wipe as it bounces.

Double stasis turrets strand Titan and invisible hunter worked wonders. Standing up on the platform in the boss room. Those throwing shields miss but you can get triple downed if you don’t pay attention lol. We got doubled downed lol. GGs though!

The Boss can definitely hit you with the shields up there on that platform , you need to stay on the back edge to make sure he hits the platform instead of your team.

I’ve had two runs end with the tracking shield from the boss killing everyone on the platform. He can absolutely hit you up there regardless of what is said here. In fact, the first wipe the shields weren’t even near us and still wiped us. Beware. It’s better to spread out and keep only one person up there to prevent the above from happening.

Yah those things tracking are nuts. What I did was play Icarus dash on my solar warlock. Even with that I dodged some shields by millimeters

Stand at the very very back edge, since the boss is below you at such a drastic angle it will hit the front of the platform and fly away. Unless you have someone intentionally acting as a rebound board for the shield and moving up, you’re 100% not gonna die. And by hang back I don’t mean “stand back and hop like rabbits” I mean go all the way to the back and crouch, after some time the boss will back out of range again.

I like the description of the walkthrough, so thank you. Some good tips and potential group make up. I found some of those areas much harder than you explain. That middle room with all the orgres was pretty nutz with with the witches/unstopables. Your video looked like non GM gameplay, but I could be wrong. If I get a chance to try this GM again,, may try that one spot you suggested. Thaknks for sharing this vid.

You can see the revives in the bottom corner, we always showcase GM footage. I think it looks easy because I simply have a lot of experience in the GM playlist (1700 clears) and have made content on them for a very long time, so I am used to predicting enemy spawn patterns & understanding how to prioritize targets.

The boss can kill 3 players, having double void resist, with one shield. Joe needs to play this Nightfall so that next season we get a dedicated artifact-mod to deal with this nonsens.

Was on that column in the boss room. Had him down to his last 1/3 health. He sent out a void sheild throw and killed us all on that platform. None of us saw it coming. One shotted us all. I hate this GM with a passion.

Yes, if all firefeam members are dead in grandmaster NFs you are sent to orbit. If you’re solo, that means dying once sends you to orbit.

Polaris Lance is a primary exotic, so it will have unlimited ammo. It’s just very strong!

You need to keep the vehicle progressing quickly without delays. The mobs spawn infinitely otherwise. Easiest way is to well-crawl up with two phoenix warlocks , or send a single invis hunter to stay by the vehicle the entire time until the Brigg spawns.

ermmm Dawn Chorus with Well of Radiance.. why not run phoenix protocal?

Dawn Chorus is paired with polaris lance and well because it buffs all sources of scorch by 200% and also makes it so that each tick of scorch damage refunds 5% melee energy. Paired with mods that generate orbs on melee and grenade kills you practically have similar super uptime to phoenix protocol with the added scorch benefits. There is essentially no reason to run phoenix over dawn chorus or mantle of battle harmony in the current meta.

Dawn chorus would make a bit more sense with dragon's breath, but even then the whole point is to stack up ignitions. No dawnblade means dawn chorus is literally doing nothing. spamming wells with phoenix protocol or battle harmony is miles better.

Top slot is reserved for primary weapons which does kinetic damage expect for stasis and strand which are exceptions. Middle slot is mainly for your energy weapons (has an element).

Never understood why people run trace rifles in a GM ... 😂 It does less damage than a freakin auto rifle . I never did a GM with cenotaph or anyone using it in my fireteam and i always have tons of heavy . There is a mod on your helmet that allows you to make heavy bricks on kills and another mod makes it that if you find a brick then everyone in your fireteam will see the brick aswell , if everyone has those 2 mods eqquipped then you will find enough heavy and you can just run the gm with decent special weapons like GL's , fusion , sniper or whatever that does better damage .
