Heck, I can imagine him working with NASA and visiting the ISS to say hello. They like him up there, as he has some cool stories about the stuff he's seen in space.

I always liked Cosmos, as he gave the Autobots another flyer, and one who's tech specs said that he was well armed as well. I always assumed that his flying saucer mode was simply his original Cybertronian alt-mode, just like in the comic, and that he never changed it because he needed it for his job. I always imagined one of the Autobots' human friends bringing up his resemblance to a traditional depiction of a UFO, and him asking just what a UFO was. Lol.

Agreed I wish he showed up in war or fall of cybertron as a playable charicter and this is comeing from a guy who grew up with the unicorn trillogy. Personaly I wasn't a big fan of the first 2 seasons of the transformers when they showed up on the Hub, I liked season 3 and 4 more but Cosmos along side the dinobots were some of the few charicters I liked in the early seasons

Titans Return Cosmos is what started me collecting Transformers figs again. I saw him in Walmart one day and thought how much better he looked than the Cosmos toys we had when I was a kid. He's still in his package hanging on my wall. I plan to eventually get another one to open.

I always loved Cosmos since his beginning in G1 Season 2. His innocent, cheerful tone combined with his courage(and his frequency to get into dangerous situations, be it from Astrotrain or Robotic Cosmic Plants) is really likeable and his alt mode is very unique, it's a shame he didn't get noticed that much more.

I want them keep Cosmos faithful to his G1 appearance! I don’t care if a flying saucer is an illogical choice for an alt mode. The mini Autobots have a special place in my heart as they were the only Transformers that my parents could afford to buy for me. For that reason, I’m only interested in updates of the mini Autobots that are well-designed faithful representations of their G1 debuts.

For anyone who hasn’t heard, siege is coming to earth as earthrise, leader class optimus prime in classic g1 truck mode with trailer/base, colored like the original toy, so yellow eyes ( honestly not a fan of the eyes but compromising because it’s so beautiful, it even has a matrix accessory in the chest)

Cosmos would be an interesting in movie character to explain as they need something to scan to become what they are . Imagine cosmos imitating a satellite at first. Then one day Cosmos is passed by a UFO saucer. Cosmos seeing the chance of a lifetime scans the UFO , becoming the only autobot who is a flying disc shaped UFO by mere chance. He might even have abilities he does not understand.

Keep the mode. It is kitchey and fun for the goofy series and it is easily good in a serious series. "You think the cybertronian war is only on earth? Dozens of planets either need our aid or are too hostile to be seen for what we are"

But now that gets me to thinking. TLDR I always wanted a TF series where the decepticons are broken into factions and their internal conflict causes more damage than they are as a united front. Similarly, I would not mind several split up teams of Autobots that have to handle different fronts in the conflict. In this, I imagine Cosmos hanging out with Omega Supreme, the dudes that make up Computron, Skyfire, and other alien vehicle autobots (that would not be on Cybertron as a resistence cell) to be monitoring for decepticon warships from a base on earth's moon or something. "Optimus, we can keep the big dreadnaughts from coming close to earth, but we can't block off the entire dyson grid of a planet. Smaller decepticon teams will get through to earth. Keep up the fight without sending the humans into a panic. Cosmos out"

I though a cool story line for Cosmos Cosmos was not aboard the original group of Cybertronians that crashed on Earth, being forged after their departure. Idolize him the great Optimus Prime and his heroic crew, he arrived on earth after the autobots and decepticons did, but before they woke up searching for the lost Ark. Arriving during the Cold War in Roswell New Mexico(because of course), the American military would assume him to be a Soviet weapon, capture, and torture/study him, using his technologies to explain the American tech advantage during the war. Eventually he was forgotten by most until the modern day, when the Autobots linking up with humanity, are shown that they have been in contact before. Now realizing Cosmos is more than just a machine, his stasis-locked form is returned to the Autobots who revive Cosmos. He appears timid until he meets some humans, where he is overtaken by rage and attempts to kill them as revenge for the torture he suffered previously. Luckily the Autobots are able to break his trance, but after a repeat incident, know durastic measures must be taken to protect their squishy friends. Regretful of the problems he is causing for the Autobots, Cosmos agrees to keep him away from humans, though as most of the planet is populated (and the poles suck) Cosmos is sent into orbit, not only to keep him from humans, but to better hide him(as he refused to become some human machine). Thus, Cosmos now resides in space, acting as a super secure and mobile satilite for the Autobots, and (begrudgingly) their human allies. To amuse himself, he will mess with human transmissions by playing the Rick roll, and making KZbin ads replay themselves unnecessarily, all while playing “All by myself”.

I always liked Cosmos. I found his personality, voice, and form very unique. I always assumed that his alt mode was a Cybertron vehicle that was never changed, whether due to choice or necessity. Like most of the characters of the second season and beyond, I assumed that he either came from Cybertron or was in the Ark in suspended animation (to conserve fuel for other Autobots). Presumably, he joined the Autobots from Cybertron or at least from space. I don't think there is much reason to change his alt mode, though I do like some of the sleeker interpretations of some of the toys. Cosmos has often had to stand apart from his fellow Autobots, due to his function as well as his form, so it makes sense for his alt mode to stand out.

Cosmos is one of my favorite Transformers. My minibot trifecta is him, Huffer, and Seaspray. I would have loved the episode where Cosmos takes Seaspray and Bumblebee on an sos mission to have used Huffer instead of Bee, but you gotta tell kids who to identify with.

Poor Cosmos. He’s always underrated. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the rotund little (as far as Autobots go) guy. As for the origin of Cosmos’ flying saucer mode, I’m guessing he came across a picture of the Adamski UFO while researching Earth and its many cultures. Being a bit mischievous, he thought it would be a good gag to adopt it as his vehicular mode. That way, he could play a few tricks on humans to relieve the boredom of being almost constantly on patrol in space. Of course, that’s just my opinion. On a side note, it’d be hilarious to see Cosmos do the Naruto run. 🤣

I had a good collection of Transformers when I was a kid, back in the 80's. Cosmos was my very favorite because he was so imaginative. In the games that I played with my toys, the Autobots would all be mean and make fun of Cos, but he'd always end-up swooping down out of space, all guns blazing, to save their bacon.
