Cosmo Sheldrake’s take on love songs are always so entrancing in a way no other artist has seemed to approach the way he does. Also, I may just like birds too much to not love any music made with their help, hehe

This new album has so many cozy, peaceful songs that just makes the heart feel a certain way. Like the feeling of wanting to smile and shed a few tears at the same time. Either way I'm loving the cozy existential vibes.

This song is so beautiful!! As soon as I heard the bird call it brought my mind to your Wake-Up Calls album, one of my absolute favorite albums ever! The lyrics and melody are marvelous as well, they're melancholic and dreamlike. I could listen to this one for hours.

That's a fucking heavy thing to drop on somebody. That is NOT healthy. You need professional help. My best friend almost hilled herself and it was the scariest thing in my life. What you're feeling is NOT normal and should NOT be normal. You should NOT be staking your life in some random song artist. How do you they feel about your comment? Would you be comfortable with someone's life in your hands like that?

I adore this song, it's probably my favourite in this album. It's so... soft and tender(?) (for lack of a better word), so soothing. Even though it's about a sad topic, though it's apocalyptic, there is so much love in it, that it still doesn't bring too much sadness, it brings rather peace and comfort, and determination to go on despite the stalking sorrow. To sing even if these birds' singings will remain only in these your songs one day.

EVERY OTHER MUSIC ARTIST HAS ONLY ONE SONG THATS A MASTERPIECE, AND THEN THE REST IS QUESTIONABLE. BUT WITH COSMO SHELDRAKE, EVERY SONG IS JUST.. A CHEF’S KISS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, DUDE!
@jarenaro4888 ай бұрын
I love your music so, so, so much... It is ethereal and transcendent in such a unique and touching way. You have a way of taking complex emotions, the heavy, painful, and frightening parts of our hearts and letting them breathe life into your art. A monarch of melancholy. A lord of longing. A herald of the dark, mysterious and beautiful. A guide through the dark forests of the soul. This one in particular is probably one of my favorite songs ever... In general. I came over here from Spotify just to drop a comment because of how beautiful this one was. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your perspective on the world. It's much needed in today's dreary, emotionally scarred world. These songs help people feel things. Help to cope. Help to heal. You're a blessing. A true artist, who represents what I believe to be the purpose of art. To help humanity learn to feel.

this one reminds me of Green grass - Live in Fingringhoe Wick. my favourite piece of yours to date. i adore all your music, your ingenious use of sound and life to create furnished masterpieces, life anew- but there is something about that recording of Green Grass that will never leave me. it's on a playlist of songs that have moved me to my core. so it put a smile on my face to be reminded of that song again, like an old friend. i too enjoyed being reminded of Wake Up Calls as well. the cuckoo took me back < 3 your love songs feel so tapped into the ground, like you're able to perfectly articulate and aurally depict the origin and purpose of love in the first place. wonderful, wonderful piece. before i even put words to it and then saw "apocalyptic love song," i was thinking of an old couple sitting on a porch together, knowing any day could be their last together but they don't really mind. i just really really love this piece. this whole album is a work of art, and i feel like the very culmination of what you've been creating and sharing with the world. EDIT: as i listen over and over to this song, the more it reminds me of Green Grass, not just in slight melodical similarities, but in theme. the picture of this old couple is so strong in my mind, which makes me think about the person on their deathbed in Green Grass, telling their loved one they'll always be with them even after they're long gone. "Oh, swift and swallow; Where are you to be tomorrow?" makes me think about "The weather vane will say, 'It smells like rain today.'"- the diversion from self, either worrying about the external or an upbeat comment during a sad time. both songs are so _inside_ the self, so it's moments like those that shine throughout the whole lyrical track. i feel like i could write pages and pages on Breathe Round Corners, which, name alone gives me chills. i'll stop here for now but i don't doubt i will come back to edit this message and add something new later.

Even the sun can turn to night. Even moon can be bright. O, the world is now under the light as it is being shined through the realm of your eyes. Once the mind is no light, it can be shined that its glowing smile even with blurry eyes. You can also be sunshine whether it's the night or the day cause the world is now your mind. ● _ ○) the song lights me up. Thank you again.

So sing my friends. Let's make the night become the day. And make the world even brighter than the sun as we mock them with our smile. They shall cry upon our brightest world as they rain. We also dance along with them. So they can smile once again. End.
