Look, I don't necessarily like Orion or other lance characters and I like Smash Bros. a lot more than Brawlhalla but I have a lot of experience with lance, so I just wanna say this: Lance isn't broken, It's just an very good weapon which is why a lot of people use it. The reason people hate Orion/Lance in general is because of how people use the character. I used to play lance (Scarlet) and I had fun with her but every other match I'd either fight the same character or lance and it got old quickly so I changed to Yumiko and I've been playing her since. Wonderful character. And yeah, lance is very annoying at times but I can tolerate it. -Teros- None of the Brawlhalla legends are actually bad, it's just how people play the legends by spamming or using the weapon in the most annoying way possible is what makes the legend/weapon seem bad or overpowered, just like how scythe is a great weapon but very overplayed. Most people want lance to be nerfed but if you just learn how to counter it (which is actually kinda easy), it's a tolerable weapon. Also also, Sting Ray is Sting Ray, he plays Orion how he wanna plays Orion. There's nothing wrong with him and he doesn't spam. He's using his signatures (desperately), but strategically. Spamming and using sigs often are two different things. I'm not trying to be hateful and I'm not trying to be toxic, I just wanna be honest about lance and if you have anything rude to say, that's fine with me.

Let's just make this clear: All the kids who complain about Sting Ray's gameplay just don't know enough about the game to get how good he is. They really don't. They just see Lance and say "PLS NERF" or claim he's a spammer. They know nothing about how good his movement is, or how well he can read his opponents. Y'all should watch Sandstorm's post championship video, where he breaks down all his matches. Even he admits that the dude just had such a good read on him. Cosolix also said, before they fought, that he couldn't beat Sting Ray. And yet the kids will claim that he's just "abusing" a "broken character". When's the last time we've seen an Orion make it this far in comp play? Side Note: Sting Ray fought Boomie in a community tournament this last December. You can find their match on KZbin, just look up "Reindeer Royale 19 1v1 Tournament". They fight around 2:14:15 in the video.

People like you annoy me. Most players who watch championships understand how the game works fluently enough to know what they’re talking about, and it’s true that Stingray sigs far more than most other professional players. While his movement is good, his mindset isn’t. Notice how whenever the enemy is at orange or red, he’ll want to sig. He always starts with spear down light, which is good, but he dash-jump fastfall groundpounds with spear. Not to mention that he taunts. How can one admire someone who taunts others? He’s the kind of guy who would spit in your hand after winning a tournament rather than shaking it. He’s a jerk. Regarding Sandstorm, he beat him _once_, and even then, it was a really close match. If Sandstorm didn’t have to re-adapt to a gold player’s mindset at that championship, then he might’ve won. In short: He taunts, sigs a lot, gets too much attention, and is a general jerk to opponents of his. He makes me want to step on a lego and bury my front teeth into extremely cold ice cream for 5 hours. That’s just me, though.

If there are four people in a tourney, two will be put in losers and two will be in winners after their first match. Spear I can understand, axe and lance? Nah man, you don't even need a heavy read nor a brain to play them. Besides, have you even seen the statistics for lance and axe? It has more win rates than most weapons like scythe, katars, orb or even blasters not even cannon can win all the time without proper reads on your opponents.
