I played the video at .25x on 21:11 and saw sandstorm used 2jumps , recovery and dodge which ended up with no jumps at last. I don't know whether java calculated it or he just hit sandstorm, which ended so surprisingly. It was nail biting match though 🔥. Loved both the players❤️.

This was huge, first time Sandstorm lost a BCX. I remember in the livestream, when i said i bet on Cody everyone just said I'm wasting my money, wasting my time, "Sandstorm will win he always does" then he lost against Cody and everyone was surprised. Then this fight happen. There were people who were just spamming "SANDSTORM WILL WIN HE WILL AWAKEN" and the other side were like "SANDSTORM WILL BE DETHRONED". In this fight, it's obvious that Java was literally smacking him around, everyone lost hope. Then suddenly, Sandstorm *barely* won that one round and oh boy, the sudden waves of "Sandstorm was just playing lol" "He's serious now" "Everyone's getting clapped now "Sandstorm was just playing before" "Sandstorm will win ez he's in losers for fun" It kept coming and coming... Until.... Sandstorm actually lost. I literally can't describe the feeling when Sandstorm lost. It was very impactful. The chat went crazy, the commentators went crazy. The sandstorm stans either shut up or were on massive "he lost on purpose" copium. No offense to Sandstorm, he's an insanely good player but damn this was a HUGE upset especially in BCX.

I dont think java was really being passive, he was very tactical in how he would approach and react to sandstorm. Think about it this way, sandstorm averages a butt load of damage on encounter, so I wouldn't want to walk into that mess. I'd stay back and use my side lights and peck at him instead. Notice that java won because he probably realized this, and that only makes him genius. Time and time again people get sent to the gulag because sandstorm is insane, catch one fluke and you gotta watch you stock be gone. Its smarter to space him and keep him back. I wouldnt be suprised if players like cody and boomie start posing greater threats after this. Orb and blasters are great at spacing and punishing.

A hammer side air after a recovery + dodge in/down from sandstorm and that’s it. Kinda anti climatic and really unlucky to get clipped through the platform like that. For me it was a clear miscalculation plus really unlucky timing here

Both controller and keyboard are good, it just depends on what you prefer. When it comes to getting better, just play ranked, spar people, and watch professional gameplay. Also, there are tons of guides on youtube that you can watch to improve. You can really main whoever you want honestly. There are meta picks but the best character for yourself is the one you enjoy the most since you can climb to diamond and higher with ANY character.
