Don't forget the $25,000 battery replacement and $5,000 fender bender.

You made a very wise decision to get a Tesla! I also just bought a Tesla Model 3 and loving it! You should try to charge at home as much as possible because it's cheaper and much better for your car battery. If you use Superchargers too much it can cause the charge capacity of your battery to go down over time. Here in Texas, I pay 10 cents per KWH, so to charge my car from 20% to 80 % it cost me about $6. You also didn't mention the savings in maintenance costs like oil change, fluids, and transmission which can be very expensive as well.

Thank you. That’s a good point.

I rented a Tesla model Y- what a piece of junk! Poorly assembled. Awful interior. Cheap materials. Gaps everywhere. Never. Again.

I don't get it. When I get to 1/4 tank, I fill up with 91 octane. This costs me $26-$28 depending on if I go right away or if I go to work one more time before filling. 3 minutes tops, one visit a week. Guy in vid is full of it or lives in California.

My Lucid longest charge time was 22 minutes. From 26 percent to 90 percent & it was 🆓️.

@@Protocol15 lucid is not a kia honda vw toyota. Yes, repairs are expensive much like lexus, bmw, benz. Cost time? Like many car manufactures? Even well maintained vehicles start falling apart and are charging rediculous price. They even charge you for failing third party which they made you purchase. Get your tinfoil axx out of here. And trust me, we didnt purchase an ev to save your planet.

I drive a Tesla Model Y and waiting to find a working supercharger and waiting in line for a 30 minute charge isn;t worth the few bucks saved over gasoline that is at astrological high prices because the senile person in the White House thinks it's a good idea

EVs at this point are mainly more expensive only when it comes to cost of tires. That will soon not be the case.. but now 2024 EV tires are expensive. Yet compare EV cost to Fossil fuels... tires, oil, gas, filters, coils, spark plugs etc,,.fluids hoses.. etc... No was an EV will cost as much as a fossil fuel to own..

it's true if you get oem tires for me I don't it's a waste of money I do uber full time so for 1 tire it's around $130 for 4 tires it's around $520 this explanation does not just go to tires but everything you buy in general in life👍

I see you have a new channel, good luck with it. I can not understand why anyone that can afford to buy an EV would ever buy a fossil fuel gas or diesel or hydrogen. EVs are not only alot cheaper to operate they will over out last any fossil fuel car or truck or van by 3 to 10 times ... with little to no Maintenace for the first 250k to 500k miles., EVs now have batteries that can function at above 90% for over 1 million miles.. it's crazy not to by EVs every time. Thank you. The only reason I don't have one is I am retired and can't really afford one right now. As soon as I can I will buy an EV I love them.. At present I really like the new 2024 Cross Overs... hard to beat. The new BYDs are awesome but I'm in America and well they aren't available here. Yet !!! their quality and prices are unbeatable so far..

Because I own a horse and cattle ranch at 5,000 ft elevation and I routinely haul 18-20k lbs on a trailer. There isn't a single EV on the market that can do that. If I went EV, i'd be out of business and a few local businesses would lose a food vendor. Plus, I'd look like a girl. Men don't drive those things. That's why. I take pride in my vehicles because I repair them myself, like a man. I know how to use a grinder and have even fabricated my own small replacement parts. See, I own my trucks, not some software company who lets me lease their programs and who can shut off my car remotely. I also don't sit in parking lots at 3am like a chump, waiting for my batteries to hit 80%. I have money to make and real customers waiting for me to complete my route.

Trumper here… I’d rather spend $100 on gas and get my time back than save some money and sit at a charger! I need to be at some rallies for hours to hear trump speak. Plus he’s against them, I can’t go against him.

$50 gas??? Not in cali. $100 per tank. Also, I don’t pay $15 to charge. I pay $6 at my house. So I save $94 every 2 days. Save Almost $1500 a month.
