Definitely sticking to what I got for the moment and maximizing my roi with the simple products I got, brand loyalty is a thing in our industry, if it works out for someone that’s cool! Tip: shout out to serranos mobile detailing in Dallas, Texas just get you some super clean and 8 drops of dawn dish soap and you’re straight for interiors, door panels etc. i agree a steam cleaner is handy in some occasions but you don’t need this and you don’t need that Oscar Gil with R3 Detailing commented on the whole buying everything at once deal and it makes the new individual in the detailing industry pressured to use the newly bought equipment on every job. If you got a pressure washer or ONR get as much wash & Vacs, wipe downs as you can and maximize on that then just slowly upgrade throughout your journey, it’ll feel more rewarding and test your skills in the beginning, to actually see what you need.
@averageasian2922 жыл бұрын
Very good advice. With enough elbow grease, creativity and time, you can skip buying alot of these tools. However, if you have the foundation, AKA money to buy the kits, I would. Alot of times detailing is about maximizing the time and doing the job efficiently- tools make it easy and fast so you can get to your next gig
@luxuryshine85072 жыл бұрын
Another good advice is..take good care of your pads, cloths, brushes, mitts and towels! I have pads and towels that are still good after years of usage, many beginners hurt themselves by constanly buying new ones...and this can hurt your bussiness alot when starting! Every evening when I come home, I'm taking my time to properly take care of everything, even when hardly used, get all that dirt and product out, every day !
@SOCOMHITMAN.2 жыл бұрын
@@luxuryshine8507 You're right about that. I use Micro- Restore on my applicator pads, micro fiber towels, wash mitts, just about everything. Dry them on low heat so they don't burn the fiber and they are as good as new. If you're working on a budget you can't go wrong with the micro fiber rags from home depot. You can get a bag of them for $10 and I use them on windows, interior, wax.

Love the video brother but I want to help you out. Bead maker usually doesn't last more than a month. I use it for topping coatings but never as the only form of protection for an exterior detail. Then u need insurance for your company, need to register your company with the county, pay for a domain name, pay for a credit card service, then you're going to need to create a budget and figure out how much you're going to need to charge so that way you can maintain your cost of living and pay for the company's bills, maintaining equipment and restocking that equipment. no insurance is a fast way to not having a company.

Now see I’ve developed a question. You stated “if you dealing with a customer who won’t let you use their water, you’re gonna be in trouble.” I am looking to start a NEW business here and follow you regularly. So my question would be, without customers water, how do you supply yourself with water? Even a pressure washer requires a water source such as a house tap.

To your point about a pressure washer: if you don’t have a water source or customer for whatever reason won’t let you use theirs, a PW is useless without a separate water tank.

I think it would be good to note the consumables that would be regular purchases. I know some of those items may last awhile because certain products less is more. Another suggestion for another video, unless you've done it since I haven't had a chance to catch all your videos, 1-6 or even 12 months of how much you spend on products and specifics of what items you bought the most. You gotta spend money to get money and not everyone understands the worth of buying the right products. Keep doing you. Big future ahead for you.

Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

Kool video but aren’t you still a beginner? You started your business a year ago? Just a tip always study your product and not look at the bottles and read from the bottle. And beginners don’t need a steam cleaner either. I started with just samples of product 24 years ago. And made money off of it amd then started buying more product by the gallon. Start low and then work your way up. You don’t need a water tank generator or none of that when beginning. And 2 bucket method there’s that in the trash it’s a waste of time if you are a mobile Detailer trust me all that is just a show and no time for that either.
