Granted, sure it is the best, but does everyone that owns a mobile detail can afford all those products? I don’t, I only use one wax , soap, a cheap degreaser mixed with air freshener and water , armor all and glass cleaner . I have very satisfied customers

Exactly. I’m just demonstrating how to do certain things with different products. You don’t have to get the ones I’m showing, you can use whatever works for you. You can totally detail with simply and effective products. I like to show different methods and products so people can make their own choices. Wether they like to get higher end products or not it doesn’t matter. Use what works for you. We started on a budget and 10 years later we slowly upgraded to using other products.😎👍🏼

Well I’ve had it mar up paint before. But deep scratching shouldn’t occur if your Lee wash stage is thorough like ours. Before any contact on the paint it must be rinsed and APC rinsed a best as possible. I’ve never had any issues with this process. But it does take some time to learn to be thorough. 😎👍🏼

Thanks Phil! Yes it's critical to rub/scrub/agitate the pillars, window rubber seals and all those areas, otherwise when you dry those surfaces, your drying towel picks up black grime from dirty greasy rubber and that's not fun to see or clean off the drying towel.

Hey Phil...Another great video with lots of great info and tips/tricks! Couple of questions that I’d like to get your thoughts on....When you’re doing an initial inspection of the vehicle and come across old harden (or white faded) wax either on rubber pieces or between plastic pieces what’s your thinking/planning to address? Do you suggest just using an APC on those areas and work it in with a detail brush? And if so, do you do that before, during or after the initial foaming? My thoughts are initial rinse, APC with a detail brush, rinse, then foam. But (other than time/effort) I’m not sure if that’s the right time/spot to address those areas or if it should be done as part of the foaming? I think that if you do it as part of foam (and no APC) then those built up areas (or white on rubber) don’t actually come off by the “normal” detail brushes in the tight areas that a mitt/sponge can’t get into. Any thoughts for someone who does overthink things too much?! 🙂. Again, great video - I love how much effort you put into them and how much you try to help other learn/understand!!! Thanks, John

Thanks! Yeah old wax residue I usually attack after the wash since it’s hard to see with the soap. I usually use IPA and a stiffer brush or the edge of a towel to remove that stubborn wax build up. Sometimes a toothpick and the towel helps also.

It foams the mitt and I do a panel. Flip and continue. Than just hose the mitt off to clean it, a couple of pumps of the sprayer than I repeat. I find that works fast too. TW Ceramic Wet Wax is awesome! I remember on another video I had seen that you had applied TW S&S and TW Ceramic Spray wax on the tires of an infinite SUV. Any updates on that?

Hi Actually we did wash it again and the wheels did ok, granted it’s no true ceramic coating so the beading definitely dropped down on the wheels due to excessive heat and such. But they still cleaned up easily so that’s good! I have to search through my videos archives and see if I filmed any of that.

Very informative. What speed you using for applying wax or non-correction polish? Thx for the video.

This was fantastic. I don't believe in the two or three bucket method at all. Seems like detailer fluff. I did not consider an APC wash first. That is awesome! Save time and resources.

One of, if not, the only caveat to the two bucket method is that the “rinse” bucket becomes dirty after the first dunk. I was a bit skeptical too, but you simply have to wring out your mitt before refunding it into your clean soap bucket. Despite your rinse bucket looking absolutely filthy, you’ll find that your soap bucket is still clean

Miranda Detailing how do you sell people ceramic coatings and polishing??????? I have only had one or two actual corrections that I was paid for. I’ve never actually done a coating, but have watched many videos on them so I feel comfortable in doing them. How do you get customers for corrections and coatings?
