Permanent visas are expensive for employers to sponsor, some GP employers might sponsor a permanent visa if they are really desperate but bind you in for 5year contract… Hospitals always play it safe and will start with temporary visa

You can’t go do pg directly. U have to work as an intern / rmo for 2-4 years. Then get provisional certificate ( if u have cleared both amc1 &2) . Later depending on what subject u want to do pg you will have to see ( ex- to become gen physician/ cardiologist etc u have to do BPT for 2 yrs, clear the exam . later 4yrs of residency ) ✌️

After FCPS, you may opt for the specialist pathway and exempt yourself from AMC examinations completely. As a fellow, you may only work for 2-3 years without formal assessments.
