The rice cooker is so cute!! It actually became easier to save now that everything's online. Whenever there's new money coming in from my account - I transfer some amount to savings first and foremost. I use 3 bank accounts: one for mortgage, one for savings then one for my daily expenses and bills. My savings account does not have an ATM, just a passbook so I cannot easily withdraw 😄

Hi! I'm from baguio. If you are a WFH~ you can try Baguio. Cost of living would be lower. Our fruits and vegetables are lower so long as you buy them in the market and not on groceries. electricity bill will be lower cos you won't need aircon here haha But ofc Manila has more to offer in terms of resto and job opportunities :)

Thank you for this, I'm 20 yrs old now and yet I did not finished my grade 12. Still living on my parents and worse me and my siblings got to rent a house(with my parents money) near our old house because termite destroy our little house, my parents is living in a little office for now. Little bit challenging but I need to find a way that could help our situation. I have 5yrs left to ready myself to the real adulting world. Little bit disappointed on myself because I didn't mature early for some reason, I got to take accountability for that. Hope we can make it all

Other than being therapeutic, your vlogs are also informative about adulting. I am a 15 y/o so I should be moving out for college within 2 - 3 years, even though it wont be proper adulting but somewhat a glimpse of it. I have never worried about expenses before or done a lot of things by myself, I've done things the way my parents told me to. It has been comfortable cause then I didn't have to think about it and it always turned right cause I did what I was told to . It's kind of scary as I think that I'll to move out for college and live alone. How will I get stuff done? What will I do? and then further ahead when I earn, how will I handle my expenses? will I go broke? will I spend too much? Will i be able to live the way I want? All these questions.... Also at this point idk how to get anything done by myself.

Living expenses in Manila seems low compared to other SEA cities. Maybe because rent is low.

The salary is low as well. If you want to live in a decent condo by yourself, you have to spend 10-15k. Now if you want to spend less than that there are risks like security, the apartment being old or roommates with klepto. The salary usually average is 15-25k. Do not underestimate it and live here because you will be shocked.
