Hey! Glad you found this interesting! The prices have actually gone up quite a lot since this video so I plan to make an updated version pretty soon! Hello I really like this video. It inspired me in so many ways. I am shocked that it is so cheap for you to live in Bali when I thought you had to pay at maybe 1000 usd per month to live their comfortably. I have heard about the 6 month visa that you need to get an agent to sponsor you for. Did you get this visa? Also I write novels and dream of living in a beautiful and I spring place to work that's also very affordable and has great nomad community. I am so glad to see that Bali could be the place :)

Hey that’s awesome! Yeah I would say most people live here on about 1000usd a month but it’s definitely possible to do it cheaper! I did get that visa, any visa agent will give it to you but I’d recommend Bali Visas or Bali Solve ☺️

I don't want to attack you, but it is not what it is, staying here temporarily is different from living. Yes, you can eat and drink here for a few bucks a day, great, but if you want a beer, wine or any other alcoholic drink, it's cashier and I mean cashier! As an example, an ounce of cheese costs as much as a kilo in Europe. Wine, local from the store, undrinkable and five times more expensive than in Europe. The life you live is different from living here and believe me, it will be different and can sometimes be more expensive than you expect. Every day noodles, or nasi with a chicken leg from a campong chicken, good luck with it! Meat is expensive here, local meat is tough and unedible, you switch to import and then, yes, checkout is two to three times expensive if you are used to in your own country. Do you want to live in a room for the rest of your life, good luck with it, your aim is slow. Then all those beautiful stories about locals, they always smile, yes as long as you pay. Don't forget one thing, Indonesia is a winner when it comes to corruption and believe me, it's in their genes. Say no once, then you will see that they are less nice, again I live happily here and am happy with the house I own here, but don't be fooled too much with creamy stories, while the naked reality is very is different. It took me many years to accept, had no choice and now that I can play the game, I play it, you don't learn this in two months Bali! Okay, don't let that stop you from coming here, however, I'm trying to flatten out some of the youtube people a little bit. Finally and this bothers me the most, many expats now live here at squeezed prices, while the Balinese is suffering and this is the last I will write about this!
@RyanLeeBanks2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you got a grudge to bare towards Bali and Indonesia dude and that’s all you man! I’m only trying to show how cheap it can be, I know full well it can be more expensive and I know it can be even cheaper, as I mentioned in the video.
