How much do you need to live in Dominican Republic. Here I'm going to share with you the average cost of living in the Dominican Republic. These are not EXACT numbers and just averages based on NECESSITIES. You can add or subtract $100 to $200 depending on where you live. This does not include food and your entertainment you will need to factor those cost in. If you think you need more, good for you! This is not based on living extravagant or barely getting by. Most Dominicans can live comfortable with these costs. Enjoy!

Hi. I own a house and small japanese new car and my basic costs are in American dollars / and occur monthly - electricity $100 house and small pool, car maintenance $50 and car gas $150, insurance personal $100, and property $100, car insurance $100 30k car new; food - 400.00$ food cooked at home), pool management cleaner $60, pool chemicals $80, internet $60, house clean 1x month $100, house maint' repairs-$200 (this can easily blow your budget, tv-cable etc $25; total approx $1500.00 Not included- fun expenses like, chicas, beers, medications) As a single guy, with no kids I aim to spend a max of $2500 a month or 30k a year// ( i don't use the chicas or party hard, fun money ($1000)is for restaurants, extra car fuel, repairs for my surf equipment / pedal bike, and emergency needs, meds. These are my up to date expenses. Additions; When I had a GF my expenses added $200 on top; I also give to the deformed/of financially struggling fyi and they are everywhere. I am of the opinion that if you want to live comfortably then you should ensure your income is double your basic costs as expenses can and do easily arrive- CAUTION Could I live on $300 - i doubt it. I know people who live on $600. They live from canned food, cheap rent $250, and their fun is simply walking on the beach or chilling with friends...maybe a beer or 2 . The people who live like this have gov' health insurance provided FREE, and cheap/basic Dom Rep health insurance ( dont go cheap, get health insurance as you will regret it when you enter hospital and they want $3000 immediately. They are the easy to please types with a bare-bones life style

@canalcaribeno4 жыл бұрын
@@NorberisR it all it depends on youre living expences, you can but you won't have a luxury life style. But with 1100 USD you can, it all depends where you live here in dominican republic with that type of income. Like where i live i make i bit more than that and i struggle a little bit. As i said, it all depends where you reside at.

Hello senorita... I am looking at Dom Republic to move to...my boss from puerto rico is from there and we plan on chicken farming... i am from Texas and I would like to know how much can i buy a typical dominican house for around santa domingo...i looked online and all the tourist houses are very expensive... i am looking for a typical nice little 3 beedroom 1 or 2 bath room houses... Your videos are very good and thank you for your help!! Christopher from Texas.
@NorberisR4 жыл бұрын
It depends on the area. I really don't know prices of the already constructed homes. It's better to come to the area and search you can get a better deal. Also if you are looking to do chicken farming you can find cheaper places in rural areas.
