The comparison should have been Sacramento Ca. SF and LA are the most expensive parts of Ca.

Spokane is booming as west coast cities turn to war zones. Look for Spokane to attract many businesses over the next decade as well.

Spokane is very attractive from a number of reasons. I think the next decade is going to be great for the area.

what about average rent prices?

Great break down of the costs! I didn't realise the cost of real estate in San Francisco $1.5mil is crazy! It is crazy how the price of living can fluctuate a lot depending on where you live! Do you think that the median income would be higher in cities like San Fransisco? House prices seem much more affordable in Spokane which is great! Great video!
@LivingInSpokane4 жыл бұрын
For sure incomes are higher in San Fransisco but a lot of those workers can work anywhere (tech jobs). So why not upgrade your standard of living? Thanks for watching!

@@lujainkhalid4399 After living in Spokane for 22 years, I got out in 2018. Not safe, the cost of living has skyrocketed in recent years due to an increase in minimum wage and very left policies. There are places in the U.S. that are far safer, more cost efficient, and friendlier but as with anything, there's always a trade off. You may have to dodge tornados in a better State in order to be able to breath or walk down the street without getting knifed to death in Spokane. On a side note, if I was going to live in Washington State, I wouldn't be on the East side again as the west side is just so beautiful in comparison.

Hi. I’m moving to Spokane in a several weeks. Can you say more about switching out your tires twice a year?
@LivingInSpokane3 жыл бұрын
Yes of course! It snows quite a lot here and a lot of people opt to change their tires to snow tires at the start of the season and then switch them back to regular tires for spring. I personally use all seasons all year and get by just fine.

you had me till you got the winter story. lol the last 3 winters here have been very mild, but that won't last. trust me, we get server winters here too. i use all season tires with my 4 wheel drive jeep, if you plan to move to spokane, get a jeep or something like that with 4 wheel drive. you will need it, as for ins. on your car's, dont worry its high for people that first move here. the problem is most people spokane cant even get on a freeway at speed or even close to it. they cant merge for some crazy reason too. with the city shrinking roads, the traffic problem is only going to get worse and worse. i said my piece.

I know I know, I missed off rents (I actually edited it out by accident)! Rentcafe.com suggests the average rent price is around $1,000 for an apartment or a small house. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video!

My utilities in Spokane are about $275 per month in the winter for a 1100 sq foot house. This is with a high efficiency natural gas furnace.
