I'm a Tanzanian, the food stuffs'prices are of the classic hotels and supermarkets. In real life things are very cheap and fresh. It's good to go the local markets if someone wants to serve money.

@@chanejackson8025 local markets are everywhere you go and in the cities/towns.. they work everyday. If you are a foreigner try to speak a bit of swahili ex, "hii shilingi ngapi/ shilingi ngapi = what is the price of this"? Or you just go and pick what you what.. then give them money without talking... they will give you the rest of money. If you speak pure english.. you can be rippled.

@@chanejackson8025 You are welcome. Good varieties of primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, universities are available in all the cities and almost all the towns. It depends on the type of education system you wish to offer to the children. When wanting to repartriate in Tanzania, I would advice to begin living in Dar es Salaam-a bit hot in temperature (land at Nyerere International Airport) or Arusha-cool in temperature (land at Kilimanjaro International Airport) or Zanzibar-spice island (Land at Amani Abeid Karume International Airport). After knowing the reality of the country, you can choose deliberately the place suitable for you in any part of the country. For the moment I'm outside the continent but I can connect you to locals or reparts family. There is one black american lady with pure soul called "Travelling Sista".. she is married to a Tanzanian, she can help you a lot. Follow her in youtube as "Travelling Sista". You will find her contacts there. I would wish to help in person but I'm limited due to my foreign responsibilities. Welcome to Tanzania.

When I come over there (Home) I don"t go supermatket at all, unless what I want is not in the local shops/Market. Even fish I will go to the Ferry, if I am Dar and if I am in bagamoyo I will also go wait for the fishermen when they are just coming from fishing and get it for good affordable price. Very peaceful country, rich culture, politically stable, low cost of living, huge business potential, vibrant economy, friendly people etc. Now that you're planning to visit you should learn some important "Kiswahili" words and the swahili culture; Tanzania is the only country in Africa whose majority(almost 85%) of its people only speak their native language. Kiswahili is the official National Language, even though some people can speak English, French & Arabic. Tanzania's economy is one of the strongest & fastest growing economies in Africa, there're plenty of opportunities. Almost 15% of Tanzania's land is covered by national parks, game reserves & conservation areas. Tanzania has most tourist attractions in Africa in terms of varieties, also is endowed with huge mineral deposits. We are a multiethnic society with people of different religious backgrounds, tribes, etc but there's a tremendous sense of togetherness & it's difficult to tell the difference. So, you're most welcome to Tanzania, there's all that you can dream about. KARIBU SANA🤗

I just came back from Dar Es Salam about 2 months ago and I am “Home Sick”. I’m sick of America. The price are supermarket'$ staff. In local market it is more cheaper for instant meat = TZS 600 per kg instead of TZS 9,000 do the comparison of the two .
