I really didnt expect to meet you today but when i did i was quite nervous. I dont know if you noticed it but i was shaking. I can tell you my heart was racing like crazy. I am an introvert and usually dont approach people but i knew i would regret it if i didnt say hello. Success 😁. You really made my day and i am sure i am not going to forget this moment very easily. I am certain if you keep doing what you do, you will have to get used to this kind of interactions on a daily basis. I am rooting for you.

What kind of living are you talking about? 2 rooms? 1 kitchen? Attached bath? Can you explain this and size of living for which you told $400
@dpashutskii
@dpashutskii 3 ай бұрын
I think it was 2 bedrooms, 1 bath/toilet, 1 large living room, large kitchen, 2 balconies, 100m2. It doesn't really matter anymore because those prices are no longer exist, it was in 2021. I think such apartments now costs around $800.

Great content! Do you think the "green passport" will last in Tbilisi? Or do you think it will get phased out due to unpopularity?
@dpashutskii
@dpashutskii 2 жыл бұрын
Not sure about green passports and they also only for citizens/residents so it probably won't be popular among foreigners. We still have to use QR codes. I think the main question to Georgian green passports is whether it's going to be accepted anywhere in the world except Georgia. If not I don't see much use for it. I think EU is currently discussing this opportunity.

Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't have information about insurance. I paid for medical stuff a few times from my pocket and it was cheap. Some procedures were free. It's not that common to have medical insurance in Georgia or in my home country. We used to just pay right away. I know a few insurance companies here. You can contact them about the pricing: - ardi.ge/ge - mygpi.ge/ - aldagi.ge/en - tbcinsurance.ge/en - unison.ge/en

@dpashutskii

Thanks! No I don't think so. Probably starting from late May/June. In March/April still will be too cold. Also, to be clear there is no sea in Tbilisi, you have to go to the cost line like Batumi. There are a few large lakes here though.

Hey Dmitrii, I've been watching your videos to learn more about Tbilisi. I'm thinking of moving there, after living in China for 6 years. I've done some googling to find out if UK citizens are able to move there for one year without a visa. Almost every website on the internet says that I can move there, but I don't see UK listed on the government site. Do you know if it's possible for me to move there without a visa? Thank you! Good videos too!
@dpashutskii
@dpashutskii 2 жыл бұрын
Yep, almost all passports on the planet allow you to move to Georgia and stay for 365 days and then you can do a visa run. So basically you can stay as long as you want. It's 100% true for the UK passports because I know many people from the UK here. Thanks!

@dpashutskii

@@Satireinmyattire No, you don't need this program. You can just arrive to Georgia and get 365 days stamp on arrival. Don't need to do anything special for this. I think you don't even need PCR if you're vaccinated right now. But better to check this.

I traveled to many countries one of my favour is Georgia. However there is one thing I do not like about Georgia, Georgia cities are one of dirtiest city in Europe. Do not get me wrong. The cities authorities try to clean the cities, but the problem is the thousands of stray dogs on the citied and their feces. A group of local doctors made an study. They said that the level of infection by dog parasite is so big in the population that it is endemic. The dogs infect the people and children. Many parasitic infections have not symptoms, to an epidemiologist, an endemic infection is one in which overall rates are static - not rising, not falling. More precisely, it means that the proportion of people who can get sick balances out the ‘basic reproduction number’ of the number of individuals that an infected individual would infect, assuming a population in which everyone could get sick. Walking on the street of Tbilisi I saw many young and old people with infection of parasites without symptoms . The same in Batumi. The local doctors reported the government back in 2018, so far the government has not done anything about it. The bad part is that people do not care about the problem, out of ignorance.
@dpashutskii
@dpashutskii 2 жыл бұрын
It's hard to grasp for me because I mostly traveled in South-East Asia. Compared to it Georgian cities are the cleanest 😅 Same goes for straight dogs. But I can understand it may come as a shock compared to western countries. Unfortunately it's an issues in many not so economically developed countries. They just don't have finances to work on these issues or they have to prioritize something else.
@enkines1756
@enkines1756 2 жыл бұрын
@@dpashutskii The problem is that a group of local doctors made a report to the health authorities about the danger to the population of so many stray dongs in the urban areas. The people health has to be a first priority. They do not need a lot of money to solve the problem. I traveled to many developing countries, and the cities are more dirties than Tbilisi. What happen is that in Tbilisi there are dogs feces all over the place, in Batumi you can not walk 10 feets without finding a pile of dog poop. In city like Batumi where rain a lot, that is very dangerous mostly for children.
