I used to spend about 16k a month on a big house including bills now I spend 6k on a tiny house including bills. The budget hasn't changed it's still 50k so we spend 10k more on living than a year ago. I will do a vlog on this topic in some time. I will also do a new vlog on current food prices. Sometimes we have brown outs but it's not very inconvenient, the internet has recently been fiber optic and it's fine.

@@IslaPamilya Thank you Matt! I'm 63 but not retired. I'm not married, I live alone, but I have a kid I have to send to college soon. I was wondering if I could work remote via the Internet from the Philippines to lower my overhead. What do you think? Is it possible to do that in your area? I guess I could buy a generator or solar for the brown outs as long as the fiber is reliable. Or does the Internet go down with the power?

Yes I do have a question. Since 800 dollars doesn’t sound all that much, considering it is for a family of 4. It all depends of course on the income you guys have per month. So my question is: what do you guys do for a living and how much is your monthly income ? I know it is a very personal question and I understand if you don’t necessarily want to answer my question in all detail. But a rough number would put a realistic understanding to your viewers.

Although I’m living in Canada, I was actually born in East Germany, and the news I’m hearing, coming from Europe these days, are not very assuring that this whole thing is gonna be over with soon. Even though it seems the rest of the world is dropping their Covid numbers, Europes cases are lately increasing again. I hope for all of us that this crap is gonna be over and done with soon, as I myself was hoping to travel to the Philippines for the last 2 years now.
