Decent prices for organic vegetables. I'm an American woman married to a Cebuano living now in Cebu province by the sea. We love local fish and fruits and vegetables. I love to cook and bake though, so I often crave imported ingredients. Lazada is a help, but it's not cheap as you must know!

Since you've mentioned the cost of the life style in El Nido, I feel intrigued coming from Los Angeles, Ca. whom me and my husband are considering retirement in the Phil's. I do like the life style that you are sharing us in your vlogs. Both my husband and I were born, raised and finished our education in Cebu, Phils. We migrated to the 🇺🇸 more than 35 yrs. We both go home to Cebu, Phils but it's starting to be crowded and polluted. I saw your vlogs and it's interesting. Hope you give us ideas of the land prices, just like yours.

Thanks for the update from El Nido. I was actually surprised that you can get places to live that reasonably on the outskirts of town. It is tough to do these cost of living videos though, because the cost for someone who goes out to dinner once a week, is going to be much less than the for the person who has breakfast, lunch and dinner out of the house. I'm still praying that things will open up before the end of the year, so a better Christmas can be had for everyone there. I just canceled my flight to the Philippines for the 4th time in the last 15 months...I am dying to get back there to be with my girlfriend. I'm sure Baby Bella will grow up with a great appreciation for the simple life in the Province, as well as the beautiful life you have at home in Puerto Princesa. She is such a sweetheart. So beautiful...

I love the lifestyle here in the province, kinda tired of the the rat race life in the city. When I retire, I would love to have this kind of life, no electricity, no problem, use firewoods to cook, it's more yummy. Regarding the rent, I think it's a bit pricey being in the province. But , there's nothing more satisfying than a fresh veggies, shellfish and fresh air. Love it. Stay safe guys and God bless

Free range chicken is about 217/kilo. I also missed the brand names. Parmigiano Reggiano is only $14.99 made In Italy of course at Costco in the US. Butter here is not real n also Greek yogurt 🤣

Il fattore casa e la cosa più importante. se si riesce ad avere una casa a basso presso o a gratis come nel tuo caso si tagliano le spese di un buon 25% almeno. Un abbraccio grande 🤗

I am hoping to get back to Palawan. If heaven isn't like Palawan, I'd rather die and go there. LOL My buddy is saying the Philippines is getting expensive, but he is spending like a tourist when he goes. (yes he is a tourist. LOL) He said he spent $6000 there in a couple weeks. I said that is insane. But he likes the party life. I am more about nature and quiet time on the beaches and islands. I don't need to spend $100 a day. When I retire, I would like to look into buying a little Bed and Breakfast place with 4-5 rooms. Rent out the rooms. We will see in 12 years what happens.
