I used to live under the approach to Schiphol's Oostbaan and that's how I got interested in using flightradar24 to see what was flying overhead. The first and only aircraft I learned to recognise by sound alone was the Piaggio Avanti, never needed flightradar to know it was one of those when I heard it. They sound like the Reno Air Races have come to town.
