COSTA sunglasses lifetime warranty experience

December 2024 updates Costa no longer offers life time warranty anymore and refuse to talks to their customers. I tried to call them only directed to some off site chats . The good ol’ time costa customers care is done . Why would I spents over $200 or $300 for over some name , I will happily go to a gas station to pick up $5 or less 😅

One question will they replace sunglasses if they are lost

Did you have to have your receipt for them to accept the claim?

When you shipped them your glasses, did you ship the glasses only or the case and box as well?

If I recall, I shipped the glasses and the original case. They sent back new glasses in a new case.

What color is that? Just got the FERG XL because I have big head and they were the only one that fit and I got gray lenses since it said about bright sun and I’m a cart attendant and visually impaired

@@GroovyTactical will that help with bright sun ? I have the gray lens and they say on website that is a good color for sun and bright conditions but it is not in my experience I’m a cart attendant and sun bothers my eyes

Why did you send them back for the warranty claim?

Regular wear and tear from using them often, scratches on the lens, rubber peeling, things like that. Costa will probably repair or replace them at their discretion.

I do not think so, they may have changed their warranty process since this video

Not at zero cost. They will replace the lenses for much cheaper than a new pair

Costas and Maui Jim are by far the best shades on and off the water . The costas have to be 580 glass for them to be very close in comparison. Now comparing the costa polycarbonate lenses with the Maui Jim’s there is no comparison the MJ wins every time.
