Yes I have rented cars from Costco. Since we are members we get the extra driver fee waved. Since we’re we travel we need an extra driver. And the extra driver fee is expensive if you due not go through the Costco route.

Most of our car rentals have been through Costco. Have always had a positive experience. Once you make your booking, keep shopping your dates. The price will often come down closer to your reservation date.

I always check Costco for rental cars. One time a got a three day rental in Vegas for less than $35 total. Most of the charges were airport and other taxes. It was incredible.

I always use car rental through costco, they seem to be the same price as others but you also get the extra driver. It also seems to have very little overhead as compared to going through a specific company, and you also get 2% back if you got executive.

We haven't rented through Costco but we DID go through them for the auto purchase. I think it gave us a $1000 off if we used the dealership they gave us. Then after the purchase we got I wanna say 50% off accessories and install up to $250. I used it to get the tow hitch. Also if you use a dealership for your maintenance some dealerships have discounts and specials if you have a Costco membership. It varies. Sometimes it's a service special through Costco at a specific dealership. Sometimes it's a default savings through your dealership. 🤷

You have to buy the more expensive executive member or black card, but you get like 3% back on every purchase. It's only worth it if you spend at least $600/month
