@@karacole2304 Maybe you could share with your pastor your hunger for preaching the Full Council of God, not pulling some "ear tickling" verses out of the Bible. But remember today's church goers do NOT want to hear about Sin, Shame, immorality, repentence, Hell, fire, brimstone. They want their ears tickled. But to to tell the truth you do have to talk about those things because the path to Hell is broad and many will enter in and the gate to Heaven is narrow and few will enter in. Read Matthew 7, Jesus is talking to believers.

@@sylviac.6778 I'm sorry...what? Why are you attacking my theological position and pastor? Our church does not tickle ears. May I ask what ever gave you that impression? My in laws are deep into the NAR and Word of Faith cults (as presented in American Gospel), but I am not. Trust me, God has shown me the pure truth of His Word. The whole Gospel (and only saving Gospel by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ) is all that is preached...So please watch your accusations, if that is what you're doing. It is very rude to judge my pastor for "ear tickling" when you've never even heard him preach? Whoever said he was doing that? I hope you were aiming your response at someone else. If so or if not, please explain.

@@karacole2304 Yes, there are parents that have spent years getting their children out of that cult. They make "undivine utterances" before the Lord. Chant, do contemplative prayer, roll around on the floor in a frenzy to release negative energy. Lay on the Graves of past so-called preachers to "soul-sleep". Plus they are poorly fed and are worked to exhaustion. There are many docs on this Satanic for huge profits movement.

The Pastors love the people rolling around on the floor... it's just a Demon manifesting also barking like a dog and but they don't tell the Demons to go. Is there a prerequisite for receiving the Holy Spirit? Knowing the Truth by reading the Bible; accepting God's work of salvation through Jesus, asking daily for His guidances in our life.⁉️ Luke 11:1-13 KJV And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. [2] And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. [3] Give us day by day our daily bread. [4] And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. [5] And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; [6] For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? [7] And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. [8] I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. [9] And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. [10] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. [11] If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? [12] Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? [13] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?👈✝️⁉️

So glad to hear him say when Did worship become music? This drives me nuts! We used time have a music director or choir director. Not a worship leader. All church is worship. Reading your Bible is worship. Evangelizing is worship. Praying is worship. Ministering to the sick is worship. Tithing is worship. Volunteering in Sunday school is worship. Why have they stolen the word worship to mean only music? It's insanity!

Having begun by the spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? we cannot depend on our own strength in reading the Bible The false Christs today are the people who claim to be a Christ NOT a person who preaches Jesus and brings the lost to Jesus I mean people such as Benny Hinn is not one of them God has used him mightily he has brought many people to Jesus lives have been transformed wherever the disciples went after Jesus’ ressurection, God used them to heal the sick the only judgemental people I know in the new testament are the Pharisees remember, God looks at the heart, not the outer appearance

I was much less aware of Costi Hinn until I discovered his first book, Defining Deception. Then three or four months ago I watched the movie, American Gospel: Christ Alone, which was excellent and you get to see Costi describing and showing the background he came out of. Since then I've watched many of his videos here on KZbin. Costi's life has been transformed by the true biblical gospel that he now embraces and he will lead many out of the deception. I didn't know he was at this conference and that my current personal pastor Philip De Courcy was a speaker there as well. I would love to have attended.

Sarah, we are in the exactly the same situation, what makes it more complicated is that we are in the worship team. Its our first church membership and as you say, it feels like family. I never ever felt the presence of The Holy Spirit which was one of many reasons I ended up leaving. Another church I use to attend was Glory City Church. They worship a false Jesus and Holy Spirit (there is a spirit of kundalini in the Church) I did not know this until I was prompted by The Holy Spirit to leave. Curiosity got the better of me so I asked The Holy Spirit why He wanted me out of there? and He most certainly lead me to the reason why... I never heard of “Kundalini” before, so thankful He got me out when He did. I feel I was under His protection. Praise God 🙏

@bellaroccisano4156
@bellaroccisano4156 4 жыл бұрын
Charles Wright I’ll try my best to explain how it. From what I saw, the church weren’t being convicted of sin & repentance. Instead of feeling a Holy Presence of the Lord I felt a worldly comfort instead. It was almost like “do what you want & what makes you happy because God loves you just the way you are” No He doesn’t, thats why we are called to repentance, to put to death our old selves and to be more like Christ Jesus. I understand we all fall short of His glory & that’s where grace comes in, grace is not to be abused however, meaning you cannot continue to live like a heathen and expect God to keep pouring out His grace onto to you. I understand God isn’t based on a feeling too so I acknowledge that. I know I went on a bit but hope this answers your question lol. Blessings 🙏

Thank you.....this is THE BEST! I have heard on this subject. I endured 41/2 years of..........watching my husband endure horrendous pain, and slowly waste away, as he "set his heart" to follow Kenneth Hagin, and his offshoots........while throat cancer relentlessly marched on to take his life. I know my Heavenly Father knew what was best.........and i know that my husband is in Heaven at peace.........but, i am very concerned for the families, and loved ones who are not properly grounded in the true faith of the Lord Jesus, the Christ......because watching a loved one suffer and die.......while they are "trying their best" to "have enough faith" to receive their healing...............could cause someone to have a very negative attitude towards God.....to say the least

Gods ways are not our ways. His timing is not our timing. This I know, he loved your husband and was with him in every breath he took here on earth. Now your husband is in heaven and is healed, he has a new body. You can praise God ! Faith, if I can put it in this context, is like plugging in an electric cord into the wall socket. Do you just get a small amount of electricity or do you get all of it??? When we accept him as our savior he gives us HIS faith and ALL OF IT!!!!! Be at peace and know that he has been healed!!

I was on board with him until he walked into the God only Sovereignly heals - that’s not biblical either. And it does have a lot to do with faith. I agree it has nothing to do with how much you give to a ministry... that’s witchcraft. But if healing is all about sovereignty, why then did he heal a woman when she countered, “even dogs gets the crumbs from the children’s table” - you can’t tell me that wasn’t her dog-with-a-bone faith!

When I visited certain churches in search of a community to grow in Christ, I felt many times like there was something wrong in my heart because while I often agreed with the sermons, I felt so cold in worship (which has always been such a joyful thing for me). But through discussions like this, and through learning what I have learned watching "American Gospel: Christ Alone", I have learned that it was the Holy Spirt -- that sword of the Spirit -- cutting through the emptiness of words that did not align with our God-breathed scripture. I feel such peace now, realizing that, DUH!, I need to listen to *everything* I hear at church with a biblical filter, not only the sermons. If it doesn't line up, I am moving on! THANK YOU, Costi, for speaking out about this and for being a strong voice in calling us all back to the Word! 🙌🙏🙏

Love the quote, "Don't fake the power, but don't forget the power!" Great perspective. Stay in balance for sure. For me, there should be emotion in worship, but not emotion that lifts me up, but rather emotion that takes you into the presence of God. Worship should leave us in awe of the Glory of God. We praise Him for who He is, not to get something. I like the Old Testament model of Outer Court, Inner Court, Holy of Hollies as a model for worship. Thanks for sharing your perspective on the Gospel. Saw you first on the American Gospel and it loved it.

I think we can use music for different reason when we are Christian. In the early church it was not just One "pastor" who was teasching the Word and everybody else was passive! No in the early church they gathered together and EVERYBODY in that gathering was active and shared something that God had give Them. ... That is what is wrong in the modern church! Not the worship style.

There is NO perfect church yet I will NOT compromise the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST. We are all the salt and light. Keep ourselves in the Fellowship of Brothers and Sisters that study the Word of God through the finished work of Jesus Christ. There is always flaws in the human flesh in every preaching and human works. Let the Holy Spirit lead you all the way. Make your judgement by the fruits. Build yourself in His Words so you can help your bro and sis in Christ. Bible illiteracy and cherry picking are very common today. IF need be start your own bible study group. If so called Pastors in the prosperity movement who claimed to have the gift of healing why do you have to pay money for it. And why don’t they go into hospitals and set people free. So glad you are speaking out truth. Too many churches have stages and light shows just like the world hoping to attract people to the church. But people look to the band as idols. The Apostles preached Jesus His birth death and ascension and thousands were saved . They didn’t use music to draw the crowd or light shows they simply spoke truth!

Hi. I am so glad to see people coming out of the prosperity gospel. That’s wonderful. My mom because I was born blind used to take me to Catherine Coleman and people like that. When I was very little. Of course, I never did get my site. I was born blind, and at 54, I am still blind. Plus, I have many other I elements at this point. Chronic pain, mental illness, and other things like that. But I still get a lot of I confess it and possess it talk both from the church and from people such as mental health workers, a lot of them have been trained in Buddhist thinking, mindfulness, Deepak Chopra and so forth. It’s very rare for a born-again Christian who has multiple disabilities, including mental illness, to find someone who isn’t deceptive, who isn’t deceived, by the worlds confess it and possess it thinking. Way to go Costi. By the way, I heard you on Johnny Erickson Todd is program. Johnny and friends. I was speaking this into my phone, so there will probably be a lot of mistakes which I won’t be able to fix because of my stiffened hands. I think God for these technologies, although voice dictation is far from perfect. :-)

When Benny Hinn entered he was blanketed in red. I realized then the Holy Spirit was sharing with me the truth of Benny Hinn's ministry. I am a true believer that the doctrine of God's Church is the Bible, and within the Bible is the Theology that God is sharing with us through our relationship with Him, by the counsel of the Holy Spirit.
