You crack me up, Catherine! Thanks for being you. I love Blondie. She is so adorable. That bedding is beautiful! I am all about floral fabrics. And the plaid looks so good with the floral. I would like to find some plaid sheets. I don't think I have ever followed any trend. Over the years, I have discovered what makes me happy and that's what I go with. I wish I could post a photo of my bedroom to show you the sage walls with my floral and coordinating patterns. My husband and I both love the way it looks. I don't like white walls - they feel cold and not at all cozy. Color is my thing. By the way, you can paint your wallpaper. That way, you don't have to tear it down and it will lend texture to your wall(s). You will actually see the pattern better with a coat of paint on it. Blessings! ❤🌺

I had a crap end to my day and then remembered it’s Thursday!! Got a date with Dainty 😁🎉😃! I am very mich the same, with clothing, decor, whatever, I buy what I like. 😃 I do chuckle though, when I see the cottage core and similar lookimg trends, we just called it the 70-80’s 🤣. The pine and wood furniture, crochet doilies, decoupage and farmhouse or woodland creatures accenting the home and even on the dishes! Ahhh. Childhood! I absolutely love the bunny lamps! Love your new hare lamps and the floral bedding. You could still get away with your white pillow cases as there are white flowers in the bedding and white stripe (as far as I could see) on the pink check part of your bedding. I think sage green walls would make the room feel cosy and it would go great with the furniture that is painted pink and your florals. As always a great vlog! X

Such a pretty duvet. I know in Europe you don’t use top sheets. The first time my husband and I went to Ireland he took the bottom sheet off the mattress and wrapped himself in it. I came into the room and saw what he did and doubled over laughing. His cousin told me later he heard me laughing so much he thought we must really be enjoying our holiday😆

Lovely room. Even if you decide to paint, I would keep the wallpaper. It is neutral, classic, and beautiful. As for the pumpkins, I try to bring out real pumpkins, squashes, and gourds in September. I decorate with apples as well. Then, come late November, I can compost it or eat it, and change over to Christmas. Nothing to store, no plastic waste.

I just love the change over in your bedroom makes it feel warm and cozy. I think you are a wonderful young lady and have shared so many things with us in fixing up your home to make it feel warm and welcome. I live in a rental apartment and I would love to make it warm and cozy. I am not sure where to start as what ever changes I would do must no impact it. What about painting a nice color that you like and keep the teacup wall as it is as an accent wall? Your bedroom is big enough that you could get away with two accent walls, as they almost seem like different rooms in a way. Those bunny lamps btw, are so sweet! I hear you about not getting into the swing of decorating this year. With all the restrictions still, it just does not seem like it should be fall already and that Halloween is just around the corner. When autumn and winter come around I love to bring out my wool throws. I generally stash them away in the spring as they are just too warm, but in the fall it is nice to have that warmth. Other than swapping out blankets and making sure beds have their wool blankets clean (we live in Minnesota, USA and it gets pretty cold here) and ready to pop on. Beautiful bedding, and lovely changes Catherine! I think that you should paint your room whatever colour your heart desires!! Over the years our room has been deep red with cream and black accessories, deep pinks and creams, and now we have a pale peachy pink feature wallpaper and off white walls. In Spring and summer we had watercolour floral bedding. For the Autumn/winter, I’ve just introduced sagey green and peachy pink bedding and I’m super tempted to buy the scrummy sage bedspread from Dunelm which matches! I too, will need to keep my wallpaper forever as it cost many pennies 🤣🤣🤣 Anyho after all my rambling, it’s only paint and can easily be changed if you really don’t like it! Take care, Laura xx
