As it stands, Black should have taken the bishop with either the knight or the queen, with Knight being the better option, because Black's Rook now covers the G8 square and can prevent the pawn's promotion, but the queen already does that. I wish theyd adapted some real game played ages ago to show the game bw koji and sakayanagi. The anime adaptation seemed dumb because the best chess players look 15-20 moves ahead and dont suddenly pull out a "brilliancy of a move" people know what can be played and what cant beforehand. But ig the thrill for non chess olayers is greater that way.
