I just installed my Eflite yesterday after calling 9:30 am the end of my day. I finally had my package which took 8 days, usps Fla to South Carolina. I bought the interface adaptor and needed nothing else other than getting all these systems into the Tx. I managed to get having speed and altitude with Harry’s video but wasted much time trying to locate my flying site from 40 miles away. As Harry stated, take all your equipment to your flying site. Fortunately for me, I have a tech savvy club president that helped downloading 18 images or so. It was difficult to see in the daylight, even under canopy. I took the images home and have what I wanted in 5 minutes or so. Thanks for your efforts Harry. I couldn’t figure this out without your videos.

The mavsense maps app is not user friendly or of much use. I strongly recommend you delete it and instead use Dave McQueeney's excellent maps app which works with any GPS sensor. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2SofXt5aaaNgMU

Thank goodness for Harry!! I have one of these (elite) and know nothing about how to really use it!!! Instructions were VERY basic!

Really nice! One question Harry: Does this app works in Gen 1 radios? My guess is not due the size of the Lua app and the maps will not work due to the screen limitations but How about the navigation screen to guide the model back home?

Here is the answer from MAVSense: GPS logger is fully compatible with Gen 1 radios. However, to run the GPS Lua App you will need a transmitter with color display.

Hi Harry, great video, as always! Sorry to be a pest but can you lower the beep on the radio when recording the videos? I used headphones a lot to watch your videos and its very loud compared to you voice.
