It is a nice place. Pitch where you like and the owners are really nice too with their own camper. They came back on the Sunday afternoon and pitched next to us cos they didn't want to go back to the house.😆

It was. As soon as I saw it on Google Earth and saw all the shade coming from the south I knew it was perfect. Be great to pitch on the opposite side in cooler weather too to get some warmth and solar.😊

Love it when you have the campsite all to yourself!!! Hee hee hee! That little pony with the flies was making my eyes itch! Been so bloody hot down here!!! Just realised I've had my tee shirt on backwards all day!!!! Buooooyyyyy! Xx

Lol, hope it ain't got a print otherwise you'd look like a right weirdo! 😂 I know, poor pony. The owners put a net thing on his head when they came back on the Sunday. Sounds gross but I reckon it was cos of the moisture.😝

Yeah, we enjoyed it there. More to see than what we filmed. There's a village not too far away too and a restaurant type place at the end of the road.

That certainly looks a nice quiet campsite, perfect for a break without having to listen to loads of people. The surrounding landscape looked lovely, just a shame it was way too hot that weekend, I recall that heat very well. Karl captured some lovely views with the drone.

Hi. Really enjoyed your video. That site is only ten minutes from my caravan storage and about 30 miles from home. I love it for a local getaway, been there twice now, first time was during the Cerney Steam Rally. Great little site and as you say, the owners are lovely people. I’d hate them to go full facility but a real toilet would be appreciated as I hate using my van toilet for no. 2s! Site can be a bit tricky to approach with caravan if you get someone coming the other way who is allergic to reversing but I and others have managed it. Look foreard to going again. Who knows, we might meet!
@roaminginraymond2 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much. They are a lovely couple. They overnighted next to us when they came back from their own weekend away as they didn't want to go back in the house, which we found amusing. I can imagine coming down that road with a caravan would be much trickier. We encountered an idiot driver as we were leaving along the lane. We only found the site that morning and I Google Earthed it, saw the shade and Karl rang them. It was perfect for our needs and we will definitely be going back sometime as it is a very relaxing place with very little traffic about as you know. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the comment. Always nice to chat and yes, maybe see you there sometime.😊

We are OK thank you Jamie. Karl said really you need to change the 7 pin of the car to a 13 pin. He said you can buy them off Screwfix. Then buy an adapter for 13 pin to 2x7 pin which you can get from Ebay. He said a single 7 pin is normally for towing trailers.

Can't remember unfortunately as it was August last year, but Karl cleaned the DPF out in the September but we were getting issues again in January this year. He said he's going to do an update video.👍
