so those wondering how to cut down calories but not the taste, just use Allulose sugar syrup, it's 0 calories but tastes just like sugar. You can get it at any store, and there's no need to add these cookie or oreo crumbs, and still enjoy a delicious high protein frozen dessert. Also if you wanna add more ice cream or softserve consistency, add a small teaspoon of xanthan gum before blending.

I always hear about Keto, but I have no idea what is Keto or not. All the recipes I saw, people were saying it's the new healthy ice cream, so I wanted to see for myself. I didn't hear anyone say anything about Keto, but that makes sense.

I like cottage cheese with fruit,so I'm thinking this would taste good. Also, if it happens to freeze into a brick, just letting it sit on the counter for about ten minutes should make it easier to scoop out. I make a frozen dessert with bananas and avocados, and it also freezes like a brick but letting it sit out for a few minutes does help. It definitely isn't ice cream,but it's very tasty and healthy as well.

@@CookingwithShirani I made regular strawberry. I made my son try it, he says it tastes weird. When I told him how I made it, he was shocked. His Girlfriend tried it too. She says it tastes more like frozen yogurt than actual ice cream. It is different and yes, I think it tastes like Fro-Yo, too. Its not bad tho. Next I want to try strawberry with bananas. Rather than using sugar or other sweetners, use banana because its a sweet fruit and has a lot of flavor. I also want to do cookies n' cream, peanut butter n' fudge, maybe banana with peanut butter and chocolate chips and carmel. Idk have many ideas. But did you know you can make taco dip, as well as, veggie avocado dip with cottage cheese? There's so many. I'm hooked on this trend.

I just want to comment back to you cuz you contacted me giving your opinion about keto I just want to let you know that it does work I cross keto with carnivore diet and I lost like 165 lb so far I think it is a great diet and it keeps you between the diet and while not die it's basically a way of I don't refer to it as a died I refer to it as a way of life cuz once you throw died out there then you just threw it right in the garbage because then that's when you're going to break it you know and I'm not about to do anything to change my lifestyle but I just wanted to say that this guy does work in the I think it's easy most people find this lifestyle to be the most easiest lifestyle to stick with God bless you my friend

I put some healthier alternatives in there but if it tastes like frozen yogurt then I am okay with this......I made icecream with cream instead of cottage cheese and it is far too rich for my liking.....I prefers something more tart.

I like how level-headed you are. It's surprising to hear you talking about some simple recipe, then you pull out a gem like, "Don't go over five hours; otherwise it's going to turn into ice. And, not going to turn into ice, but turn into a rock. I mean, really hard!" It just sounds funny the way you say it, so much common sense and honesty! "You can eat this just like this; you don't even have to freeze it. But, I mean, what's the point, right? We're making ice cream, so I gotta freeze it." That sounds like something I would say!

@@CookingwithShirani I made up a batch last night, using about 1.5 cups of frozen strawberries, 1 cup cottage cheese, a tablespoon of maple syrup, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, half a banana and a cup of almond milk. I blended it together and put it in the freezer for two hours. The result was unsatisfactory. It had huge ice crystals throughout that scraped my tongue raw when I ate it, and the batch around the outer part of the pan was frozen like a block of ice. Also, the mix was gritty. Oddly, the only flavor I could taste was banana.
