I have started curating art AND almost "squealed out loud" when I found my first transfer ware plate this past week! It is a beautiful Currier and Ives blue and I paid 85 CENTS! I recently found a beautiful set of lamps at a local antique store that I can't wait to bring home, brass with milk glass swirled shades and glass chimneys. It is so refreshing to watch a video with the focus on Jesus Christ and to not see a home so decked out in Santa Claus! Absolutely gorgeous as usual and the suspended eggs in front of the mirror is totally mesmerizing!! And the village is always one of my favorites which is where I usually look for the bear that Matt hides. I also have to add that I am one of the lucky guests at your annual tea party and immensely enjoy the fellowship along with the beautiful decorations. Beautiful! I love your style. Red transferware is one of my favorites too. The story about Matt hiding the bear is so cute. My husband started a similar thing with a silly little plastic green alien when my daughter was a child. Now, probably 20 years later, that 2-inch tall alien still shows up in various places around the house. So fun to see how long it takes to notice his new location lol!

I’m from the UK and what you call a ‘Small living room or snug’ we would just call a living room! 😂 we are really pushed for space over here in the main, and our houses are a lot smaller. Love the decorations! I have one of the same red/pink castle plates that I picked up in a charity shop, and I use it every day. I collect them in all colours

I really enjoy seeing you set up for a tea party. I can just imagine the thrill the ladies will have just relaxing, laughing and enjoying conversation. So much fun. This year I had all these fabulous plans but many are overseas serving our country or overseas (literally) Many will be out of town and the rest are having parties. It’s ok though because I did decorate and am enjoying our home with my husband. Of course we will attend some gatherings. I wish we could keep items in our attic but it’s not cooled and our summer heat would destroy anything made of wood. I have my extra table leaves hidden behind my TV wall unit. Great video. I have the dishes in hutch. I'm giving them to my fave niece and nephew this Christmas . Since I've lost my husband 2 years ago they have continued the closeness we all shared together. They loved him and we went on many trips together. Loved loved this video. He loved Glassware. So many sugar and creamer sets always caught his eyes. Merry Christmas

Everything looks wonderful and is a perfect reflection of you and Matt. Tell your mother-in-law I LOVE those hand painted eggs! They look incredible "dancing" in the mirror! I was desperately trying to figure out how you had them suspended. I assume you used something like simple fishing line but I couldn't see just how it was connected to the mirror, or perhaps the wall above the mirror? We lost my father at the holidays some 22 years ago, so we always think of him, remember his Christmas traditions, and all those childhood years of mom leading our children’s choir at Christmas, dad doing the Bible readings.
