Very cool! Love that stitch sequence- sort of like a puffy Suzette stitch. I bet it would be great for a blanket, too. Thanks very much!

I used a thinner cotton yarn. Dishie cone from Knit picks and a 4.5 mm hook. I made I guess kinda like a mat to put my lamps on so they don't scratch my table. They came out really pretty!!! Also I only chained 2 on the pico stitch.

I love the pattern and the stitch but don't like using crocheted wash and dishcloths so I usually use the pattern to make a blanket or cowl so thank you for this video.

question: is this a different variant of the puff stitch?? I just started crocheting and the puff stitch I learned had 9 loops before you pull the yarn through

I am having alot of difficulty with your video. Using 32 chains and starting in second chain from hook, I never end the row on the right stitch. I can only end the row on the right stitch if I start in first chain from hook. To boot....my rows end up being longer than my foundation row, which I've tried with a larger hook to loosen and its just the same fail all over again, going back to wrong # of stitches at the end of the row. I'll have to quit this pattern after 3 hours of trying to make it count right. Something just isn't working here between the stitch count and instructions.

Why didn’t u help her out?
@annves9 ай бұрын
I chained 32 stitches and for me it worked fine. I ended with a single crochet in the last stitch. I don’t know if you ever dared to try out this tutorial again? maybe you were finally able to do it? :)
@annves9 ай бұрын
32 chains One sc in second chain from the hook, and also a puff stitch in the same chain. Skip one, sc in next, puff in the same chain. Skip a stitch . Repeat
@karievens50527 ай бұрын
You may need to watch carefully when skipping a stitch, tgat you are o ky skipping one. Make sure you are doing the puff stitch in the same spot as your single crochet . I just did the first row and it worked out perfectly.

A sincere question. Do you have to use cotton or can you use acrylic?? I know for some things you don't use acrylic because its a fire hazzard but if this is just being used to clean, would it matter??
@madisimonich6247 Жыл бұрын
I think I'm this context cotton washes up better
@madisimonich6247 Жыл бұрын
As well as being absorbent!
@robertataggart5989 Жыл бұрын
Acrylic yarn doesn't absorb well if that helps you. I would stick to cotton for cleaning ❤
