I'm very familiar with the area you're flying here. It's JUST outside of the Spirit of St Louis Airports controlled airspace. Did you have to do anything with the city of Cottleville to make your flights? My property isn't far away and falls within the SUS Airspace, so any time I want to fly, I need to file for a LAANC approval.. That's not a huge deal as so far, I haven't gotten a denial and all approvals have been instant, but while my property is sufficient for flying my drone and getting used to flying it, there are also Cinematic modes that I'd like to experiment with and learn, that require more space than my property can provide...

Great question - I did not need to ask the city of Cottleville for permission, but you're absolutely correct this is just outside KSUS airspace. I like to use aloft.ai to request LAANC authorization when I'm flying the restricted airspace. Filming anywhere near Downtown STL gets frustrating because you need to request authorization for manual review 3+ days in advance and if it says it's ineligible for review it doesn't tell you why it was denied so you have to just try a different timeslot
