Planting of cotton after wheat harvest, if not very productive. Alfalfa is one good option to follow PQNK rules.

Beds should be covered with organic mulch all the time. You have to figure out, how to plant through the mulch. You can use no till planter or hand dribbler.

18 inch furrow, 42 inch bed size, total 60 inches:::: 8-18-8-26-8-18-8 inches, row to row distance 34 on side of furrow, 26 on top of bed.... My suggestions 6-18-6-30-6-18-6 inches, all rows of equal distance of 30 inches on bed and also aside of furrows.... All rows at same distance of 30 inches apart

We advocate equal space around the bed, row to row and plant to plant (see my explanation available on this channel), except for cotton where we have cover crop to be used as live mulch. Narrow rows stop sunlight for the cover.
