I have been using this chair at work now all week and it's sooooooooo comfortable, leaps and bounds better than the office chair I had before. I can't use the lumbar pillow, it's not comfortable and the head rest is a bit flat, so I never really have my head on it.
Since it's a bucket seat, your legs raise a little, if you slide your butt to the rear of the chair, and that is a bit flat,.... BUT, even though it's flat, its not uncomfortable like most seats are. Everyone at the office who has tried the chair loves it.
Also, while I am 5'6, people that are 5'10, 6'4 and maybe taller (I only asked a few) have felt that it was comfortable for them as well, tall and wide, this is great for you.

Thanks for the review, Cougar isn't super popular but they have a good line up and unlike name brand gaming chairs they have a large arena of gaming perpherials like cases, desk etc. I fell like that shows a bit more attention to detail. Another point most would look over is that full lean back feature it is actually kinda nice but you wouldn't think so but here is why it stretches your back out.

Excellent review, and spot on! I've now had this chair for... 15 months now. I have used it daily for over a year while working from home. And after work of course sat on it while gaming. Hasn't broken yet. I am also on the heavier side. And I still haven't found a reason to get a new chair. All the other chairs feel smaller, more cramped. The headrest shape and feel is superb, it stays in its place and I like its firmness. I also like the back pillow. I would say that if you are under 5 ft 6 / 168 cm or so, you might want to get a support for your feet. Anyway, foot support is always a good idea, thinking ergonomics. BTW, I replaced the original wheels with rollerblade wheels, those may have lifted the chair a little bit, perhaps. But you need not worry about damaging your floor with rollerblades on.

the roller blade wheels are awesome, I was reviewing a chair when out of the blue they said not to release the review, so I never did, but I love it and use it at my day job, so the wheels are awesome. Yeah this char is nice but I found one to beat them all, this right now is my favorite: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5zFk4KZbNqnjKc but if your chair is great right now, there is no reason to change, it was a good chair but since I review so many, I have to distribute them around the house, then to friends and such, so I keep the best ones in my office, right now the maingear is #2 and the chair I linked up is #1, I hope you continue to enjoy that chair my friend ;)

after 15 months of constant using , do u feel and lower back ( spine pain ) , did the seat cushion sag or it did hold up well ? i have some lower spine problems and the seat cushion density, thickness and durability are very major to me .

@@abdallahsindi2787 Some back issues here as well, so I know chair matters a lot! I feel my back has not suffered with the Titan Pro Royal. Overall, the chair looks like new, and IMHO, it's the best looking chair before Terminator got introduced. You just don't get the real sense of it from videos. A Throne. Both the removable back cushion and the neck support pillow have retained their shape, 100%. They feel just like when they were new (neck pillow shape and feel is the best I've ever had, in any chair, and both pillows also stay in position, not dropping in use), although have to note that the memory foam used in them feels harder than regular pillows. You either like it, or hate it, I suppose. To me they are very comfortable. While I can't say the seat cushion would have sagged, I feel compelled to note that I can (sort of) sense some bolts - that's what I think they are - under the seat, towards the back of the seat cushion, right under the buttocks. Vaguely sense. The same design as in every gaming chair I have had, but less pronounced. It does not irritate as much as with other chairs, but I do sense it, if I just sit idly. The chair is rated for a 160 kg user, so I would not expect it to loose its shape too soon. The chair looks super cool, itt's larger than your average gaming chairs (wider and rest higher, personally, being 5ft7, I like to use a foot support) and I've noticed I even like to watch movies at my desk, just because the chair feels so damn good. No regrets here! Have not found a better one yet. Guess it'll be the Terminator for me next - if this chair ever fails.

I've been interested in the Cougar Ranger "recliner" style chair. Have you seen that one? Most of the gamer/racer style chairs have felt too similar to me, and similarly uncomfortable no matter what I do with the head and lumbar supports.

I have seen that chair, but I don't see how it will work, unless you are a console gamer. It does not have wheels, and most people site in front of a desk, I don't see how it will work. Yes, you are right, most are the same, but the 2 I have here comparing against are very different, and very comfortable, I go over the pros and cons of each chair, check it out and let me know what you think. 7 years, thats not bad at all, While the cougar was nice, the maingear was better, but, this one actually beat the maingear, if you can find it in your area, check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5zFk4KZbNqnjKc, the max load is 181, but I am sure an extra 4cm won't hurt it, surely your cheaper chair wasn't able to handle that, and the max Hight is 203cm, so I think it would be perfect for you, check it out

OK, the screws don't come with a measurement sadly, and they come pre-installed, never thought about actually measuring them, but I would HIGHLY recommend contacting them, they may be able to sell you a set, there are 2 different screw types: cougargaming.com/us/contact-usa/

I dont know to tell you about the height exactly, but I gave this seat to my boss and his son, both are taller than me, over 6 feet (over 182.88cm) , it can take up to 160kg . I would invest to Anda Seat if u are that heavy. Those chairs are up to 200kg... But this will hold pretty well. I myself 120kg had chair up to only 130kg cheap one. And she hold for like 5-6 years...so people worry way too much.

I've sat in various Gaming Chairs, however I've come to the conclusion that you're better off buying a used Herman Miller Aeron or Embody chair for the price. Granted, they don't have as many logos on them, but their construction and long-term ergonomics are superior. I was able to find mine for $600, which is around the price of one of those Gaming chairs.

Personally, I don't care about the logos' but some people like them, and I have heard about the Herman Miller chairs, reached out to them as well, but they have never gotten back to me, so aside from buying one, I can't review it and I am spending tons on hardware, as a small channel, very hard to buy everything, maybe one day.

@@ThisBytesForYou Totally understand. They certainly aren't cheap and overall your money is better spent on hardware. Maybe one day. As a company, Herman Miller is somewhat elitist in that unless you're real huge, they probably aren't going to even acknowledge you. They know they have a luxury product and reputation, and their prices and marketing reflect that.

@@ThisBytesForYou Buying a used chair is definitely a roll of the dice. And most of the resellers are somewhat shady, and you get a lot less customization options. Fortunately, a lot of the Herman Miller chairs are easy to service and replace worn parts. So it is what it is. I definitely appreciate your videos, and even implemented some of your suggestions like building a PC on a Lazy Susan, which really helped. So thanks for those ideas and I hope your channel keeps growing!

yeah, I had that one too, I reviewed when I was at Dragonblogger, they are nice, but if you sit on them for over 30 minutes, they are not that comfortable, the Vertagear and the Kasier 3 I can sit in all day, no issues at all.@@zyada7med

I am 5.6 and am sitting it in right now, I have it at my day job, I sit in it for 8+ hours hahah, I am sure it will be fine at 5.7. I have had people 6 feet sit in it and found it comfortable.
