I know I have it. I am a retired nurse. No diagnosis yet, I have sle, lupus 23 years. They said on a regular CT Scaring. I am going to ask for a CT scan. Dry cough extreme SOB. WEAKNESS have been on cell cep plaquinil 5 of Prednisone I'm 79.

My father was Not able to get diagnosed til 48 hrs. BEFORE his death.

Wow same here . They diagnosed my brother with pneumonia. He was in the hospital three days and sent home with nothing but a appointment to see a reg Dr . He died three days later . I called the hospital and they told me the Dr that seen him on the day of release said he actually had pulmonary fibrosis

Sometimes lung fibrosis is found incidentally when we do lung imaging for a different reason i.e. pneumonia

Thank you so much for your info I have been diagnosed for the past three years. I didn’t know that I had it till I got Covid. That’s when I felt it and I got really bad cough that doesn’t go away I have been coughing for the past four years nonstop and went to many doctors to help me with a cough and none of them could help I do have the acid reflux and I took pills I’m still coughing until this day. I got it when I was 56 can you help me with a good cough medicine please?
