He's right about where Manly could finish. I'm a die hard Manly supporter, so I'm of course hoping top 4. But they've been hit and miss for years. Tommy Turbo needs to stay healthy, because there's no one who can replace him. And every other team out there know it. He has a massive target on his back, and he will until they cripple him out of the game.

Brooks will be great for Manly - it will just depend on how quickly he can fit into their attack and defence. Hopefully they can play semi final football this year and win the competition next year as this year is most probably a stretch.

Manly could very easily have won by a lot more than 7 points yesterday. There were at least 2 bombed tries from Luke Brooks, plus the Olakau'atu no tries, among other opportunities we failed to capitalise on, added to the fact that we gifted them Young's try. If Manly's attack with Turbo, DCE, Brooks, Croker, Garrick, Koula etc actually clicks ... they are going to be hard to beat. As always with Manly though, its their defence that is the worry. It needs work. If the Chooks handling was better (19 errors), who knows what might have happened??

Manly will make top 8 or top 4 yes turbo if healthy for the year they will win the competition they have the best side for long time they have power on both sides they can score plenty of trys but defense ig they can fix that they long way to win the competition as a manly supporter i am looking forward to this season go manly

Brooks has never even played a finals game in his life, the guy is a jinx. Bizarre how Manly can be talked about as a chance for the comp when they get smashed the last couple of years by the likes of Penrith and Broncos.. They’ve only signed Brooks the jinx and ppl think that will improve them lol??? Turbo always gets injured too, the odds of it happening again must be short.
