I'm missing the dream bundles with storylines and quests. I like the bundles full of items, but I also like the added story to forgotten characters like we had with Ursula. I would love if they did Dream Bundles for the DLC characters to add story to them, as they end up as the most forgotten characters with no new interactions or stories. Also I'd love skins for Rapunzel, Jafar and Gaston, who do have alternate designs in their movies they could take from. Maybe one single DLC bundle for Eternity Isle for example that holds a bit of everything for all characters in one? + story for the characters.

Such a great point-I miss the Dream Bundles with storylines too! It seems like such a nice way to give us extra content. Adding quests for the DLC characters as well would be amazing! DLC character dreamstyles and/or bundles would be cool. I have all of the bundles except the Wall-e one. There isn’t a single item I liked from that one. I didn’t like his dreamstyle or the clothes for the player either. So for me, that one would have been a waste of moonstones. But, for those that did like it, maybe they could add a matching Eve dreamstyle for it.

Love this idea. The Belle dress in the game is not close enough to the real Belle dress. They should give us the real one. I hope we get all the ball gown princess dream styles. Tiana needs hers too and while I think Aurora is coming in pink, I am hoping we get her blue dress and her cottage dress most of all. I would love a Prince Adam dreamstyle and having it tied to quests in a bundle is totally how I want it. I would happily pay moonstones. I would rather spend them on that than some of the furniture offerings because adding some more quests to get to the item is fun.

We need the Prince Adam dreamstyle. I love the idea of having Palaquin in it too. Maybe it could move a little like the sushi chef. Just like kick up its front legs like a horse? Other things I’d like to see in the game: Stitch Elvis dreamstyle. We definitely need Pluto as either a character or companion. Also, I was talking to Sally today and she mentioned bats and a belfry. I’d love it if one of the companion critters in the next dlc was bats, especially fruit bats.

@OscarsCosyCorner Honestly, I’d be all for regular sized Pluto as a villager and a baby Pluto styled puppy as a companion. It just seems weird that we got Minnie’s cat (whom I’d never even heard of until the Mickey Mouse clubhouse cartoon came out-i babysat my cousins’ kids a lot, so I saw a lot of that lol) yet there’s not even been a mention of Pluto. There are so many animals from the movies/shows that we need in the game in some way. I’m still hoping for Sven from Frozen. He seems to be completely forgotten. I don’t think Kristoff even mentions him, which is sad.

I find it ironic that the Disney fandom outside of this game all prefer the Beast to Prince Adam and think he's ugly, yet the DDV community seems like they are desperate for it. I don't mind Beast's personality but I would totally love a new Dreamstyle for him. Maybe we'll meet in the middle and have beast in his ballroom outfit someday

I’m glad you’ve made a video about this, Oscar. Your videos are so thoughtful and the ideas you share are get me excited for DDLV’s future. I love the idea of including the Palanquin as a furniture item. I never would’ve thought of that! (Whenever the topic of a Beast-themed Dream Bundle comes up, what I do find myself imaging are the high castle gates.) That said, I’ve seen the many (many, many, MANY) Reddit posts begging for a “Beast’s Transformation Dream Bundle” too, and I have A LOT of thoughts. Like… a lot! As a massive “Beauty and the Beast” fan, I completely understand why players want this. Belle has always been my favourite Disney Princess, and, full disclosure, I spend an embarrassing amount of time hanging out with her in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Any excuse to interact with her, and I’m there. So trust me when I say, I’m not against more “Beauty and the Beast” content in DDLV at all. But honestly? I don’t think a “Beast’s Transformation Dream Bundle” is the way to go - or even something we’ll see anytime soon. I think people underestimate how much time and work a Prince Adam DreamStyle would require. First off, they’d need Robby Benson to return and record new lines for Adam (he can’t be roaring at everyone), which ain’t cheap. (The Ursula Transformation Dream Bundle didn’t even have the option, sadly, as Pat Carroll had already passed away by its release in 2023.) But more importantly, the devs would need to create an entirely new character from scratch-design, modeling, rigging, rendering, and animating. Even if they reuse animations (like how Vanessa shares many movements with Ariel’s human form), it’s still a massive undertaking (and a costly one at that). But beyond the technical challenges, perhaps my biggest issue with a “Beast Transformation Dream Bundle” is that it ignores the Beast’s curse: “If [the Prince] could learn to love another, and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, the spell would be broken. If not, he would remain a Beast forever.” At this point in DDLV’s story, Belle and the Beast aren’t there yet-they’re still working toward that love. The curse is still unbroken. So, having his transformation tied exclusively to an optional, purchasable bundle would feel… I don’t know? It just seems unfair, I guess? It would also just be completely out of place narratively. What I’d rather see is the Beast’s transformation as a plot point in DDLV’s overarching story - as part of a big, dramatic cutscene in Act II. One of the game’s central themes is transformation and redemption through love and friendship. Aside from the Forgotten, who embodies that better than the Beast? His transformation could be a beautiful and meaningful moment in the game’s story, and it would resonate so much more than just being relegated to yet another thing you can buy from the Premium Shop. So, while I totally get why everyone wants a Beast Transformation Dream Bundle, I think there’s a better way to bring this moment to life-one that stays true to Beauty and the Beast and Disney Dreamlight Valley’s themes. Maybe I’m thinking about this too much. I don’t know. (I’m a media studies student, so overanalysing and overthinking shit is just kinda what I do lmao)

Ahhh thank you so much for sharing this-your passion for Beauty and the Beast and thoughtful analysis really shine through! 💜 I completely understand where you’re coming from, especially about the kind of narrative weight that the Beast’s transformation has. Act II is still totally unknown right now (I have my own theories that the game was never intented to have an Act II for the base game and we bullied them into it with Skull Rock lmao) but it could be a large part of that! That said, I do think the curse could still be addressed through a Dream Bundle with quests, even if it’s not as grand as a main story moment. It’s true that creating Prince Adam would be a huge undertaking (and you’ve made some brilliant points about the technical challenges, we know that GL like to be as... cost effective as possible 😂), but I do think the Premium Shop is where DDV seems to be heading for most things-for better or worse. Still, I’d love to be proven wrong and see it as part of the main story too! Either way, your love for the franchise and the thought you’ve put into this are so clear 🥹 Thank you for sharing your ideas. It’s always a joy to hear from someone who cares as much as you do! 💜

I would love a prince Adam dreamstyle in the storybook vale act 2 similar to how Mickey got a steamboat willie dreamstyle, where different characters are transformed into certain styles from their stories. Such as ping style for Mulan, an alien creature style for stitch when he has multiple arms, red suit, and antennas, and maybe even sorcerers apprentice Mickey.

If they did a transformation dreamstyle for him, they wouldn't call it "Prince Adam" bundle or anything like that because that's technically not his name by Disney standards, just a long-standing community/fan adopted name based off some incorrect information trickling through other Disney departments and licensed content. I think that would be interesting if they did do that, though, because they do create some interests and personality traits for the characters that lay outside of the canon sometimes, so I guess Adam would just be an extension of that.

I am on board with a Prince Adam dream bundle but I do wonder how that would impact the story and them potentially sending us back to the B&B realm for Cogsworth and Lumiere. If Beast is turned back to Human it wouldn't make sense for the others to still be in their furniture form. I personally don't need them to be all in or all out of their "cursed" forms. I think it will still be awhile till it could be a potential option. Hoping to eat my words though!

I’m all for Beast becoming human again. I would love to see him being Prince Adam. I get it’s Beauty and the Beast, therefore it’s time he becomes Prince Adam. He does engage with people no matter what, yet he needs more of it with his human form. I have made sure not to let his grumpiness bother me. But seriously it’s time for Prince Adam to be welcomed into the valley but have his “I’ve changed attitude because I realize beauty within is more important.” Like it did at the end of the movie.
