Well maybe there’d be more people willing to ring in London if the Ringers there weren’t so exclusive. Personal experience with corresponding with Simon Meyer has shown how exclusive and unwilling to let anyone join in they are! However the Ringers at Southwark Cathedral are lovely - very friendly and welcoming. Maybe other London towers should take a lead out of their book and open up more.

Sounds like they need to recruit and train younger people to keep this tradition alive. It would be a good part time job for anyone.
