Fun fact, Demon Slayer AP (and by extension durability) can actually get way higher than then Building level. To explain, if you look for it on the VS Battles wiki, if you look up calculations on Gyutaro's final explosion, you will find the attack ranging a good bit, from 9.535 Tons (so Large Building level) all the way up to 7.641 Kilotons (So Town level). This should be something all of the Hashira should scale to, since Tengen (the 2nd weakest Hashira in my opinion) can survive being right next to the explosion while heavily poisoned and he would only going to die as a result of poison instead of the injuries the explosion caused to him, and if Rui's claim of his neck being more durable than his red threads is anything to go by, then a Demon Slayer being able to even slightly cut a Demon's neck should put a Slayer's AP a bit above a Demon's or close to it (and note that Tengen could cut into Gyutaro's neck when he got the chance, and Shinobu's stabs could pierce Doma's neck, a far more powerful Demon). Then there is the Demon Slayer Mark, which is a 100 times boost, a multiplier we get based on Tanjiro saying he needed 100x his normal strength to decapitate Gyutaro and considering how much weaker he is than Gyutaro, I would say that his is an accurate multiplier to use on a Slayer's stats. As a result, using the lowball for Gyutaro's explosion, the Base Hashira should all have Large building level AP based on Tengen and Shinobu, with the possibility of reaching into City Block since Base Mitsuri and everyone around at that time thought she could decapitate Zohakuten, a more powerful Demon than Gyutaro and thus, have greater neck durability than Gyutaro and his explosion's AP (and fun fact, even when hit by the scream and stopping her attack, Mitsuri still ended up cutting Zohakuten's neck enough to make him bleed). For the Marked Hashira, times the 9.535 Tons by 100 to get 953.5 Tons of AP, giving them Multi-City Block levels of power, maybe even reaching into Small Town levels of based on Base Mitsuri having the believed ability to decapitate Zohakuten. Using the high ball though, then the Base Hashira should all have 7.641 Kilotons of AP and then for the Marked Hashira will get a 100 times boost for 764.1 Kilotons of AP, making their slashes Large Town level.

The cockroach tackle from Baki is 0 to 168mph in .01 ms ; that speed ends up being Mach 21895 or about 2.5% the speed of light. This was in Son of Ogre Yujiro reacted to that tackle in the second use of it. Musashi rushed up on Yujiro and he couldn’t react. So there’s that. In addition Muzan one of the strongest in the verse could not out pace an explosion; explosions like the one at the mansion. which explosives particularly solid detonation waves like what could hypothetically have been present top out at Mach 30. IE not Massively Hypersonic The Black lightning is never intercepted or dodged in the manga; that demon doesn’t necessarily scale to his own lightning attack in speed. Kokushibo is tagged by shot gun pellets and the other upper moon got his neck blown off repeatedly by it. Most of the Hashira speed scaling should be within Mach 5 range tops, Muzan has the second best speed feat of the verse blitzing a lower moon which is calculated at Mach 10. The best is Yoriichi the original Sun Breather bullying Muzan. None of the Hashira are at equal level to Muzan while he’s weakened in the final arc let alone his healthy state. So uhh why was this a topic? 😅

(V(f)-V(i))/time V(f)= final velocity V(i)= initial velocity Baki’s acceleration 168mph-0/.01 ms I got my answers in ft/s^2 using some handy online calculators 24640001 ft/s^2 Speed of sound is a constant, however a sonic boom is caused when an object reaches those speeds so we understand how fast sound is comparatively we will have a comparison item acceleration at the speed of sound, assuming it was at zero just the same as Baki, we will have its final velocity be the speed of sound in meters per second, its time in change will be 1 second so we understand what sort of acceleration is similar to breaking the speed of sound 343meters per second-0/1 second This gives us 1125.3ft/s^2 Divide Baki’s result over the example result 24640001/1125.3= 21896.384 this would be the relative Mach number of Baki’s acceleration; Now 21896.384 is a big Mach number , the speed of light as a Mach number is 874030. Divide our relative Mach by speed of light’s Mach number 21896.384/874030= 0.0251547… Rounded it’s 2.5% roughly. I think I mistyped before with the 21985, it should be ≈ Mach 21986. However Yujiro could react to Baki’s acceleration with his own speed as he was able to brace himself against it the second time, Yujiro did that with his own speed no demon back Musashi could land blows on a Yujiro who was trying given he had his demon back out too. And if you consider Motobe’s concerns valid, Musashi would have killed Yujiro.

11:24 this mistranslation will haunt demon slayer for the rest of eternity i swear. what the author meant is that specifically giyuus 11th form (dead calm) doesn’t literally summon an ocean around him. the demon slayers don’t produce literal flames or water, it is simply that they create manifestations of flames or water with the same properties and visual form. people typically use this mistranslation to downplay demon slayer characters, but there are cases where the breathing styles are displayed to be real, such as tanjiro using a water breathing form as a projectile to cut down a tree in season one, or gyokko (upper five) being lost and confused in muichiros mist during season three before being beheaded.

Gonna be honest here, Baki is very weird to scale, the Universe sometimes tries to ground itself in reality with statements like the one from Oliver saying no one could survive a fall from a skyscraper, Hanayama getting seriously injured by regular guns or bakis cockroach dash only working because its faster than the .5 seconds it takes for someone to respond and then stating baki is around 170 mph, putting Baki characters reaction time around the .5 seconds, like Yujiro himself just straight up says thats the limit and his only way to avoid it is to read Bakis intent and act before he does. And seeing how both him and Musashi got hit the first time baki used the cockroach dash and someone like Oliver can get hurt by some regular police officer with a Katana, any verse that can slice them in under .5 seconds just straight up wins

I don’t think so, as Pickle using Aikido is a direct parallel to Yujiro’s prior use of Aikido against Pickle. It’s because he wasn’t confident in his own abilities to definitely overpower with brute force, that he used it in the contest of strength. Not that he couldn’t have won with brute force. As we know Yujiro could’ve used the demon back against pickle, but he chose the easier way to win using a technique. Same with Pickle, he was afraid of losing that he chose the easiest path to victory. Not to mention in the Musashi arc they still emphasize how hard his muscles and bones are to cut, while Baki in the arc still felt Musashi’s mental cuts going right through him. Even with demon back the durability and density of his bones and muscles in the limbs and head isn’t going to increase.

Musashi for sure scaled to Yujiro. But not a serious Yujiro. We never really would know how that goes since it was interrupted. I think the point is Yujiro is supposed to come out on top. But show how strong Musashi is, for Baki to scale against. Because Baki hasn't defeated Yujiro yet. Musashi hurt Yujiro. But he was excited, not I'm gonna end you Yujiro. We haven't seen Yujiro pushed that far. So that would be terrifying. Yujiro being pushed to his limits and evolving again. But Musashi could have brought that out of him. Baki's scaling is very hyperbolic and contradictory. Yuujiro never dodged lightning, that was Hanayama's imagination that he could but no confirmation he can do that. Especially durability. Pickle can hurt by 9mm, get knocked down by a Truck. Baki broke his back with a 2 storey fall and Biscuit Oliva himself says that no one can survive a fall from a skyscraper, even Baki post Oilva says he would die along side Yuujiro when they fall from a building. Meanwhile Akaza falls like the height of multiple skyscrapers with Zero damage in IF.

I think he'd die pretty quickly if they jumped him... He could probably make it through most of a gauntlet really only struggling towards the end... But i think he could beat any of the Hashira 1v1... Except: if you count Yorichii as like a first generation hashira or something. Musashi in the demonslayer verse would be more on like upper moon 1-3 level i could see him going either way against Akaza or Douma... Kokushibo, Muzan, Yorichii just beat him though.

nahh musashi most definitly beats yoriichi and if he beats yoriichi then with a nichirin sword he also beats all the demons up to muzan, the marked hashira negating musashi's mind reading prediction argument doesnt make sense because mushasi is reading the literal brain neurons responses to someone's brain, like you can't just mask that, a person moves was beacuse of a neurological responses being transmitted to each braincells or smth. even if yorichi and all marked hashira's doesnt let off an intent, their brains still needs to transmit neurological responses in order for the body to move and since that's what he reads then the masking off the intent argument is completely disproven. 🤷‍♂

People using the so called lightning speed feat for mitsuri its really like stupid because the rage hantengu was never shown to summon the lightning from the sky which dodging lightning from 50meters isnt the same as 30km so ds speed calcs might need a new calc

The hashiras have this in the bag,a single marked one is enough, mitsuri, tanjiro and nezuko were dodging lightning attacks from upper moon 4,this should easily put them on par with baki verse top tiers if not straight up above them, upper moon six destroyed the entertainment district with his final attack, and we see muichiro the mist hashira easily defeat upper moon five after getting Marked, people like to put yujiro above demon slayer cus he seemingly stopped an earthquake which is debatable in whether he actually did it, and even if he did,the earth quake itself isn't that powerful,it didn't destroy a single thing, just made the ground tremble a little bit that's it,the wind hashira is honestly enough for mussashi, your building level scaling for the hashiras is just poor scaling,they can easily dodge lightning, while that is considered an high tier feat in baki,a single hashira is enough,baki fans shouldn't cry too much.

Musashi won't have much nice time fighting the hashira and maybe would actually lose. Mitsuri is the slowest amongst the hashira but she was not only capable of moving but also was capable of intercepting sound and lightening based attacks in her base form. Doesn't matter if it's real or fake those are generated form an uppermoon moon who don't only have devoured hundreds of humans but also has high quantity of muzan blood, if said its sound and lightening based ability it is0p going to be as fast as the said element as blood demon arts are not related to one's rank or strength , the rank only factors to how much one can use its fullest potential as even nakime had a far better demon art than kokushibo but is only uppermoon four. Those are as strong and fast as a sound or thunder based ability only that he just is uppermoon four in the ability of using it. And there are many more feats like muichiro casually slashing um4's neck which was covered with scales as strong as diamond, rengoku being capable as fast as a train but was just his average high speed. Sanemi being capable of creating a wind tornado with his first form and many more... Demon slayers fights supernatural in regular basis unlike baki character who charge up and attack normal armed force doesn't matter how strong technology they have if they are not fast enough to use it, it's as strong as a regular sword infront of the strong force. Don't compare hashiras who has reached their true potential and surpassed it in a short amount of their lifespan with old man who basically has spent his whole life seeking a strong opponents and even then they would actually need to be totally serious to even scratch them. As even a weak demon slayer can perform total concentration which in a way gives slayers the ability to predict an opponents movement even when they may not be capable of reacting to it.
