The worst part of Jokic's game is his will (lack of) to challenge guards on the cuts and layups. Even not being a good shot blocker (which is expected with his lack of verticality) doesn't mean he shouldn't try to challenge shots. That's the only thing I hate about his game, he sometimes doesn't even bother to try to challenge. Other than that he is a full package. His defensive awareness, quick hands and strength make up for lack of verticality, but he must challenge shots more. On the offensive side, there is no need to even comment, he is a genius, one of a kind.

The Nuggets are fine, the only way you beat Denver is if you attack Joker and there are no centers who can do that. His offensive efficiency is his defense. With that said, for the team to have an easier run to the finals, Joker has to do less. They are definitely allowing more contact on Jokic then others. Sabonis gets the same treatment in some games. Just check how many less free throws jokic gets comparing to embiid and davis and he has way more presence inside the paint than those two. They shoot around two times more free throws per game on average just looking at this season. I know this has been the case in previous years too. Sabonis gets treated like this sometimes too. Defenders put their hands on jokic and push him more since he plays more with his back turned to the basket. Embiid and Davis face up and swipe through those hands and often flop to get to the line.if his inside shooting is down, its because of fauls he does not get in most cases

A smaller trade like zeke nanji, daron holmes II, and Hunter Tyson for Josh Green and Moussa Diabate/pick swaps? might get them to a more competitive level but honestly I don't think they are good enough to win the championship. Maybe they can find some body anyone from the G league or off the streets for bench production? I am having fun watching Westbrook and Jokic. In defense of Westbrook he's not Ben Simmons, he's actually very disciplined this year. He will take the shot late in the clock or to keep the defense honest but he's not forcing things from 3. In the end he's just a bench player the coach can pull whenever his impact slips into the negative zone. What's your favorite bad NBA team? (Mine = the hornets) and also what teams can fix their issues internally instead of externally by hitting the trade market?

Jokic is hands down the best player in the world & hands down the most VALUABLE for his team. He's #2 PPG, #2 AST, #3 RBS, #1 3 PT%, #1 TD, #1 EFF, # 1 on/off court rating. He would easily be #1 PPG too if he wanted. Giannis has 5 more FTA per game than Jokic. Nuggets #5 in the strong West, Bucks #5 weaker East Jokic is putting up all his crazy numbers in a much stronger conference and how many games does Giannis only take 5 FGA in a half, or 7-10 in three quarters and some of those are offensive rebounds for Jokic. Giannis trying to score as many points as possible every game, Jokic has many games where he opts to pass first and get his team mates involved and shoot second. Jokic would easily be #1 for PPG if he wanted to be even with way less FTA than Giannis
