I think Collins, Dell and Metchie are enough to be a top three offense with a little help from the line. Best move by Texans staff for Stroud was immediately signing big third down and dump off option, Dalton Shultz, to emphasize familiarity and tendencies between Stroud and Shultz

Having a better defense will also help the offense. You can be a little more aggressive in play calling because the defense will get the ball back. And the offense will have more plays in a game.

I would be interested to see how many times a team ranked in the top 5 offenses and where their defenses ranked in turnovers in relation. This D- line can bring some heat, which should equal more turnovers. Our offensive tackle depth concerns me, Heck is the only proven, Fisher is an unknown, Sharpe has only 4 starts under his belt I think. Health up front would allow us to have the opportunity to be a top 3, I just don’t know if the injuries are an aberration or a trend. Last year was insane.

It all really depends on three simple questions. Will the offensive line protect Stroud, will the running game be at least average, and will Stroud do a better job of hitting the deep pass. If they can do those three things the answer is yes, if not no.
