There would be no one better to assist King Charles in family affairs than the Princess Royal. He shares a close bond with her, she's his confidante, and she is so much like her mother. The family respects her. As stated in inews, ‘She’s famously got a much more direct character. She doesn’t suffer fools. She goes for the no-nonsense approach to the work of monarchy.' Seems to me that Princess Anne is the right person to "lay down the law" to Harry and Meghan. She wouldn't acquiesce to their demands and wouldn't allow them to derail King Charles' reign.

H&M Show will add fodder to abolish the British Royal Family. Foolish, as Harry's claim to fame - so far - is his connection TO his royal family. There is a longstanding vocal movement in Britain to abolish the Monarchy and have voters chose a President as figurehead leader. Problem with popular voting - figurehead president will belong to a political party. Political heads of state come from party in power. Monarchs stay in the middle. They do vote but they don't dictate to the majority party. Queen Elizabeth II was staunchly against Apartheid and said so privately to her Tory Prime Ministers (who were for it- Margaret Thatcher, e.g.). Remember, the last absolute kings had grisly ends. England's King Charles II was beheaded. As was France's. Russia's was shot. Bottomline, H&M's criticisms will add fodder to British Monarchy Abolition movement.

This uniform thing is getting annoying. It wasn't about humiliating Harry. It was about following long established rules. Veterans who are no longer in the services are not allowed to wear their uniforms. They can wear their medals. It's not about an attack on Harry. Everyone I talk to thinks King Charles should (1) not make a decision about H&M’s children until after Harry publishes his book; (2) if Harry’s book is negative, then Charles should not give titles to the children, and let H&M carry on in California on their own. No way back if the book is negative. If Harry agrees to never publish his book, Meghan agrees to withdraw her threat to publish her own “say anything” book, both given in legally enforceable documents, and they both apologize for lying about the Royal Family, then Charles has something to think about. I think he should wait even longer. Remember Harry had said there would be "another book" but not until after the Queen had passed. Also, Megan has been making hints of her own book....So this one book coming out that's already written isn't the end....and Charles should do NOTHING at all...because we have all seen that once the Harkles get what they want they lie, embellish and trash the family for all they can get. Not to mention a very large 4-5 million pound budget for the year to live and reflect on. They should have stopped the private jets, and expensive clothes, and a home they are mortgaged out the wazoo on. Instead, conserved their money, and utilized it towards their charitable goals. They could have bought a ranch somewhere, in an area that is not OTT expensive and lesser known. Then they would have enormous privacy on 50-100 acres somewhere less known and cheaper real estate, and 1/3 of the size of the home they have, and reduce overheads.
