Could the NHL come to Cincinnati?

Commissioner Gary Bettman on Friday mentioned Cincinnati as a city that has expressed interest in becoming an NHL expansion team.

I remember how upset people in Cincinnati were when the Stingers weren't included in the NHL-WHA merger (technically the NHL calls it an expansion). I'm not sure how Columbus would feel about a new team in their backyard though...

Two teams in Ohio is plain old dumb....but CLEVELAND IS INFINITELY SMARTER OPTION

Milwaukee would be preferable in the region tbh or a 2nd team in Chicago

If more teams are going to be added to the league, the NHL would be better off putting a team in Cincinnati versus Milwaukee because Cincinnati is the bigger market, and we should all know how much major sports leagues love large markets over smaller.

No chance of a team in Cincy. Salt Lake and Houston are massive markets compared to Cincy and they have more growth potential as well. Also, a jr team wouldn't play in that old Huntington Arena let alone an NHL team.

Can't play basketball so no NBA! Yankees got to much money for baseball! Bengals their named after a animal only found in zoos plus your QB has his own ambulance service with hospital! To heck with American Sports we can beat someone in Hockey!

@@dreamcage1801 instead of Seattle? Or Vegas?? With all due respect...if it was Cincinnati or Tampa, Austin, or San Diego...I still wouldn't choose Cincinnati. Baltimore...St. Louis Cincinnati wouldn't make a top 10 list....Vancouver exists...Montreal exists....Mexico City exists....(sorry just looked at a map)
