This is why the Seattle, Miami and Tennessee games were so tough to lose. The other games, we really had no shot. We are not a playoff team we know. But to be in the hunt is fun for this team this year rather than trying to suck in a year where there is no consensus top draft pick.

Had they started Maye in week one, the record would have been better. That 'one more play' we needed in the games you mentioned we would have had. That and these negative toolbags keep neglecting to mention what the D would be like if Barmore, Bentley and Peppers were still out there every week. The roster is not great, but not as awful as they make it out to be. They need to spend next offseason, and bigtime.

No, neither are speed demons. Without OBJ, that offense isn't the same and wouldn't have won their Super Bowl. Puka is a bigger wr who runs a 4.57, and Kupp, for all his success out of the slot, is a 4.6 guy whose wheels are a little busted and engine is high mileage.

@daneaton8567 Not saying he isn't good. He's just not Jamar Chase or D.K. Metcalf. He can be singled by Christian Gonzales all day and Jonathan Jones should be fine on Cupp. They aren't burners who will just blow by you. That's what a #1 X, WR's function is; to take the top off the defense and force opponents to play 2 deep safeties so that the run game and crossing routes across the middle of the field are more effective because there is a lot more acreage behind the linebackers and in front of the safeties. If you don't understand the game, maybe listen???

Also taking the pats over Denver atm is just pure homer. I’m not a Bo Nix guy either but they’re currently a playoff team and that Russ money is about to come of the books. Jets Titans And colts are the only teams you can for sure take the pats to be better than. Everything else is just homer conversations
