The Qur'an gives an instinctive and strong contention for God's presence: "Or would they say they were made by nothing? Or on the other hand, would they say they were the makers [of themselves]? Or on the other hand, did they make the sky and Earth? Rather, they are not certain."[1]
Albeit this contention alludes to the person, it can likewise be applied to whatever started to exist, or whatever arose. The Qur'an utilizes the word khuliqu, and which implies made, made, or originated.[2] So it can allude to whatever appeared.
Presently we should separate the contention. The Qur'an specifies four prospects to make sense of how something was made or appeared or presence:
Made by nothing: "or would they say they were made by nothing?"
Self-made: "or would they say they were the makers of themselves?"
Made by something made: "or did they make the sky and the Earth?", which suggests something made being at last made by something different made.
Made by something uncreated: "Rather, they are unsure", suggesting that the forswearing of God is unjustifiable, and in this manner, the assertion infers that there is an uncreated creator.[3]
This contention can likewise be transformed into a widespread recipe that doesn't expect a reference to sacred text:
The universe is limited.
Limited things might have come from nothing, made themselves, been eventually made by something made, or been made by something uncreated.
They could never have come from nothing, made themselves, or been eventually made by something made.
Along these lines, they were made by something uncreated.
